And that he's a tall, dark, handsome, millionaire, pro-athlete. Well, he's four out of five for sure. edit: He's a tall, dark, millionaire, pro-athlete... Oh yeah, in this case, 'dark' means he isn't fair-haired or too pale.
To be fair, isn't the job of Miller to call the action, and then defer to the color guy (usually a former pro ballplayer) for his analysis of the play? Yes, of course but there are many times when Miller will not defend his position and other times when he allows Morgan's dominant personality to dictate points in the game. Honestly, I wonder if research is done for some of their games because I have been able to point out a few errors in the "analysis."
. That's the idea, you dont see it coming. They have pulled this move before however. I wish we had gotten some of those runners LOB. Well, it's pretty sad when a fan, such as myself and the announcers suspect it could be coming, but a overpaid manager like Crusty cannot. Not to mention, frustrating as hell too! Oh I hear ya! The problem was the triple because they were going to try the squeeze even if Eck is walked. We should have executed on the bases. 11 LOB is way too many.
They did it earlier in the year in a game at AZ I saw this coming. They did this in another one of Carpenter's starts. Also a 1-1 game at the time.
