Yeah, I know. From the tone of this game thread, you'd swear the Cubs were getting beaten 10-0. Weird. Go Cubs! I just think that many feel that with the lineup the Cards ran out there today, it shouldn't even be close. On the other hand, JW is our 5th starter and Morris is one of their big boys. No one expected him to give up 6

Looks like Wuertz. Thanks! We really need our bullpen to carry us through this! Yesterday was a really tough loss and with Pujols, Sanders and Rolen out we have no reason not to take 2 out of 3 from these guys! Good teams make teams having injury problems pay for those problems! It's time we become a "good" team here!! JW is still in the game and I like the move. He only has 95 pitches so this maybe his last if not one more. Morris being PH for by Marquis

What did he say this time? They mic'd Dempster, and Demp was doing PBP for the eckstein AB in this high pitched voice. So after a couple pitches of "Dempster does my job a lot better than I do his", Buck calls the last pitch with that ridiculous voice. LMAO Now their trying to play it off like Demp is just a comedian and not picking on them.
