Please, I need the drugs that you are on. :wink: They were down by 3 yesterday and tied the game. This team can score runs and thus far, this pitcher doesn't look over powering. Looks like he's missing his spots. Myers has been very good all year. Probably their ace. But I wish I had your optimism. Optimism is all any fan can have. If I seriously thought this game was OVER I would turn it off. I know all about Myers but I still contend he looks hittable (over these last 2 innings). I'm watching to see if the Cubs can take advantage of it...

BEFORE TODAY MARK HAS GIVEN UP 5 TOTAL RUNS IN THE FIRST INNING (3 WERE IN ONE GAME AGAINST STL) That's not consistently sucking. When the Cubs are behind everything gets exaggerated.

We stick up for them because we are fans. If you have some much contempt you shouldnt watch because this team has problems (obviously). I'm still going to watch and I suspect you will as well. The only difference is you'll watch and kill yourself by picking apart every mistake and I'll watch knowing they are behind yet maintaining they can come back in the next 8 innings.
