  1. Nomar will always swing at the first or second pitch. I think a team can live with one or maybe two guys like that in a lineup, but not six or seven. I wasn't singling him out. He and Burnitz both decided to ground out early. Macias saw more pitches than both of them combined.
  2. Kerry will be making his first career relief appearance next half inning.
  3. 5 2/3. Jason Michaels ends it. My fantasy team thanks you JM. Now get some runs off Sheets. It's disgusting that I'm in the position to root for the Phillies to win (even though they lead us in the WC race) because I dont want MIL to pass us in the standings tonight.
  4. Wow, down by 5 and they come out swinging early in the count. -
  5. Wow, the Mets didnt score
  6. Cameron strikes out swinging and looks really bad doing so
  7. Glendon is a veteran pitcher. Ultimately, he's to blame because he has the right to shake off any pitch he doesn't want to throw. I would usually agree with that, but with Glendon's WHIP I'm not sure he's capable of knowing what pitch to throw. Much respect meant, but that woman in your avatar is gorgeous. Thank you :D
  8. Sammy Syndrome. "No one else will go get it, so it's all up to me." Calling it Sammy Syndrome makes it more negative than it is. Sammy rarely had the team's best interest in mind. I think Derrek, like a lot of the Cubs, isn't relaxing at the plate because they look up at the scoreboard and see the hole their in... This team is seemingly always playing catchup (at least lately).

  10. Derrek flies out. He's reaching for everything. 0-3
  11. He's better than Rusch out of the 'pen
  12. This team lacks effective middle relief
  13. Glendon is irritating. All this after a walk 9-4
  14. Piazza singles Beltran scores (close at the plate) Walks kill  EDIT: ON second thought, it wasn't that close...
  15. Wright walks. Glendon is making this more interesting than I care to see...
  16. Floyd flies out to short center 2 down
  17. Cameron pops out I see Walker decided to take control on a play...
  18. Come on Glendon, shut them down!
  19. Lawton grounds out but the Cubs are now back in the game. Let's go 1-2-3 and put the pressure back on Glavine
  20. Passed Ball Macias scores, Barrett to 3rd 7-4
  21. Rusch flies out to short LF 2 down
  22. Marrett doubles. 7-3 Runners on 2nd & 3rd
