    Cubs lose to the freaking giants. This team royally sucks. Strands soooooooooooooo many runners.

    This is baseball, not tennis or golf. Hawkins is being booed because he REALLY sucked for the Cubs. He blew so many games for us. He then kept acting unaffected, and showed no emotion. Us fans wanna win, right now. We're tired of losing as a whole. While some of the jeering was sad, its deserved.

    I feel bad for Hawkins, but this guy underperformed for awhile with the Cubs. He gets to San Fran and does better. The fans want something to cheer. And they want to win a World Series. If anything folks, this is a testament to the desire of Cubs fans, wanting to win. This is good.

    This angers me to no end. Barrett, Walker, and Burnitz have choked so many times in the past 5 games. These guys coulden't get a base hit when it mattered most. Then you have Rammy swinging for the fence when the wind is blowing in. This offense may have nice stats, but that doesen't mean anything in the win colum. Need alot more runs and OBP.

    Thats why home runs are overrated. You want guys that simply get basehits when they need to. Line drive hitters are what this team needs. I'd rather have Brian Giles behind DLee, then Burnitz. For the love of god STOP swinging for a home run.
