Amen to that. And when he was on FOX Saturday, he suggested they still have one of the better farm systems in the game. Just like most Cubs fans, Hendry overvalues his prospects.

sorry Tiger, but I hardly fault Jones for that one. he ran, didnt taunt, just raised his finger (#1 style) in celebration It doesn't matter to me if it's taunting or celebration, you look stupid celebrating a home run that doesn't even give you the lead. What if it ties a game? I think a nod is acceptable celebration for a game-tying homer. Perhaps a hop and a skip.

The sarcasm is getting old. :twisted: Neifi best player ever? Pros: Has hit .400 in a month before. Can hit from both sides of the plate. Barry Bonds, Babe Ruth, and Ted Williams couldn't do that. Is a better bunter than Albert Pujols. Can play 2B, SS, and 3B. He's versatile! Cons: Doesn't know that 4 balls = walk. Not fan friendly. Refuses to sign autographs for fear he will be exploited on eBay. Beats up homeless people for fun.

I'm not a Bynum apologist, but if you're going to bring in a pinch hitter just to sac bunt, bring in a pitcher instead of wasting a position player. And even if Bynum were successful, Cedeno would be at 2nd with Pierre and Perez up. Yay.

i'm watching the Fox sports StL feed, so no Stoney, its the regular Stl duo I heard them say the same thing. Disgusting. I'm seriously on the verge of finding another team to root for. I've always been a Cubs fan, but, as a baseball fan, it's becoming tough to root for them.
