  1. I agree with this. So lets scale down teams that have the cash, and teams that need a second basement next season. Cubs (might be after 1st class FA pitcher as well) Mets (might be after 1st class FA pitcher as well) Angels (might just keep Kennedy, Scioscia really likes his defense) I'd say the Red Sox, but perusing their Son of Sam Horn website, they don't mention his name often or seriously. Most seem to want Pedroia at 2B, and only mention Soriano as a possible Manny replacement. I agree with Vance about the Yankees being happy with Cano. I wonder if the Blue Jays wouldn't go after him, with the increased payroll this offseason...
  2. Thanks fellas, that's what I was looking for!
  3. Too easy. 54-2 Daaa Bears.
  4. Thanks, that does help, but does anyone have any scouting reports they know on him or any projections? Chances of making the big leagues?
  5. Can anyone tell me anything about Billy Butler in the KC organization? I have a friend who's uncle and aunt used to house him in A ball, and he's curious to see how he's doing... I can only see he was a #1 prospect in 2004 according to BA.
  6. I'll second this. If they play him in left instead of Murton, I'm gonna flip out. But otherwise, this is VERY good news, even if false. But I know Hendry has been after Soriano for a while hasn't he?
  7. Still kinda worried about the run protection though. We need that running game going strong.
  8. My favorite: http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2006-09/25316661.jpg
  9. Well if THAT happened. Then that would be a very sucessful off-season. I think. Yeah. I mean I'd rather not have Pierre for the deal he's gonna get, but the other acquisistions would make up for it I think.
  10. wow!! Over/under on Mateo's innings? 5.2? I say over.
  11. Thanks for the report on Colvin. Sounds like a pretty good draft, I hope his offense keeps progressing. By the way, I've been to that statue in Vienna, beautiful area. When did you go to Austria?
  12. Yeah I know, let's get the show on the road already!
  13. I'd also really like for Hendry to try and swing a trade for Miguel Cabrera, Vernon Wells, or Andruw Jones....but I won't hold my breath.
  14. My predictions: Manager: Freddi Gonzalez Signings: Aramis Ramirez, Alfonso Soriano, Jason Schmidt, Ray Durham, Juan Pierre, Kerry Wood.
  15. But seriously, James better pitch well. He's on my fantasy team.
  16. BIG MURT!!! HE WANTS TO PLAY ON THE CUBS NEXT YEAR!! :D :D
  17. Ouch. That just sucks. Still wish I would have drafted him though...
  18. I'd trade him as part of a package for Miguel Cabrera. Maybe Hill, Moore, and Aardsma?
  19. Nicely done. Way to represent better than our team.
  20. http://www.someplacesomewhere.com/uploads/post-796-1157518492.gif
