  1. Which makes me think he's running Shaw off, the one thing that kid can do is rebound.
  2. I can't buy a team with drew as it's point being great, just can't. Plus two Wears in the rotation. They looked good today, granted they were making shots at a rate they can't possibly keep up. They played well offensively today but they don't play D, don't board and they always tire out at the end of games. Well no one on the team plays defense. But yeah they are good guys to have off of the bench, but you don't want them starting. They remind me of Tyler Griffey.
  3. You bet it didn't you? Like I need an excuse to tell Mizzou to [expletive] off. I just saw the small line on that game and was surprised.
  4. You shouldn't regret that. That was a tournament type intensity in another teams building. Those games make you better, IMO.

  7. I can't buy a team with drew as it's point being great, just can't. I can't buy a team that plays defense like that as being great. They have some talent though. Did Parker play at all for UCLA? I had the volume down. A little bit. Yes the defense is also a huge red flag.

  9. One person criticizes Walton's awesome color commentary. Now this. What's wrong with you people? I enjoy walton calling games. It's epic.
  10. Is Anderson serious with that goatee?
  11. No just his shot is, it died in 2011. It was survived by his passing ability though.
  12. they should stop helping and leaving guys standing alone a foot from the rim. That's my expert dignosis. Love it.
  13. He's hillarious, but I'm not sure that's what he's aiming for.
  14. I missed this earlier. You guys are going to be a final four team again, IMO. No one has a Ben McLemore. You look amazing now with Perry Ellis looking lost. Wait until he figures it out. Dammit why can't you bastards ever have a down year? Bill Self is ridiculous. From a far distance, I was kinda skeptical of Bill Self outside of his recruiting prowess, but it's pretty obvious that he's come into his own as a HOF type of coach that is entering his prime. Big statement, yes, but it's hard to argue with the results- 8 or 9 consecutive conference titles and 2 final fours? Not bad. I don't think it's a stretch at this point. He's at 450 some wins now. He's still really young. The rest of the Big 12 isn't all that strong. He gets about 30 wins a year. I can see him getting to 800 wins pretty easily. He turned 50 today. He should be able to get to 800 wins fairly easily unless he retires early or goes to the NBA. Yeah he's a slam dunk hall of famer. I still hold out hope he decides to go try his hand in the NBA. Mostly because I am a fan of his and can't bring myself to cheer for Kansas.
  15. He should be ashamed of the Sloan situation. The Avery Johnson one though is one where I don't think he is wrong. Their offense was crap under him and he was a poor fit for that team.

  18. I thought you guys looked really good. Had Dixon not got his Pierre Pierce on you looked like a final four team to me.
  19. So he's an ok college player, the guy he's running his mouth on was a lottery pick. He was a better college player than Byrd too, IMO. Thus I think for byrd to be running his mouth about him is pathetic. Oh come on, you can't talk trash to more talented guys now? Those are the guys that draw the most talking. Especially if it affects their game which it clearly did with Leonard. I would say what affected Meyers game the most was our idiot coach having him 19 feet from the basket at all times. It just bugs me he thinks he can run his mouth to a guy that much better than him. It's not as if he implied that he he was a better player than Leonard. I'm seriously baffled that you still bring this up. I hate purdue, hate their coaching tree, hate their style of play, can't help myself.

  22. Haha, great comparison. 6' 5" three-point specialist versus an athletic true 7 footer. Byrd wasn't wrong when he called him soft... he is soft. ESPN ran a stat a few issues back. I don't recall it exactly but somewhere around 17% of all 20-40 year old males in the US that are 7' tall are in the NBA. When you figure in Leonard's athleticism he would have to just about try not to make the league... Leonard's true test is whether he puts his All-Star genetics to their full use and gets a max contract in a few years... What I heard there is Meyers Leonard has taken dumps with more talent than DJ Byrd. Possibly soft ones. Byrd is a clown that has no business running his mouth about an NBA lottery pick. One who is playing quite well at a level that DJ Byrd, or no one from that Purdue team will ever sniff. Haha, you crack me up. Byrd really hit a nerve with Meyers, and you. I mean, why trash talk a guy that's soft? Maybe it will affect his game? Maybe it did? Maybe nobody from that Purdue team had Meyers talent, but they beat him every time they played him I'm pretty sure. I'm sure they did, we were kind of terrible for a bit now. Just looked it up we haven't beaten you in 7 tries. Yet Izzo cried about us firing weber. The Byrd thing hit a nerve because he's trash. Had hummell said it, it would have been funny. You know because he could actually play. Byrd is awful and as such should shut his mouth.
  23. Where did DJ Byrd come in on that list? I guess more importantly DJ Byrd is hard though, I heard he was hard as a rock when he was arrested for public intox.

  25. They know the refs won't call everything. So hack away. So in other words if Matt Painter had taken the Mizzou job he would have fit in perfectly since that is how Purdue has played defense under his guidance! :-" seriously though we need a guy with a teardrop tattoo that can shoot the three... Byrd has gone to [expletive] since he gave up drinking. So is he gonna ever get another chance to talk [expletive] to Meyers Leonard again? Surely he's going to make the league?
