Think about what Jim Hendry loves in a shortstop. Now make him 18/19 and at a level well beyond where other people his age are. Now make him produce enough to make it seem like he might put it together. There you go. I didn't think he was still producing that well. I think I read that a lot of scouts are starting to question if the bat is eer going to be what it takes for Andrus to be a productive big leaguer.

all three writers who did top 50 rankings for the Baseball America Prospect Handbook disagreed with you after last season. Two didn't have him in their top 50. There's a rather significant difference between evaluating Felix Pie prior to 2007, and evaluating Felix Pie as of now when he's putting up a 1.000 OPS in AAA at age 22, while raising his BB% and LD% slightly, and dropping his K% a significant amount. His BABIP is .423. Yeah, he's had a good year, but I don't think he's unquestionably a top 25 prospect. Well a lot of the guys from the lists you were talking about have graduated to the big leagues. I think he is in the top 20 right now.

They don't apply to normal logic. They are the Cardinals, they always get lucky. They will pry end up getting Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis for Skip Shumacker.

I doubt that, they just took three of four from the Brewers with Reyes, Wells, Maroth, and Thompson going for them. They will be players.

I saw it last night. Wasn't really impressed :cry: I am afraid it will just be like 4 episodes ran together. You mean Fox splitting it up into episodes in a couple years? Thats what they did with Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. No I know Fox will do that. I am afraid there will be no real movie, just a bunch of randomness like the episodes seem to have become.
