Nice! I'd like to see the Cards get buried really quickly. Yeah Jack Wilson could have scored the third but he wasn't aggresive to take second when they threw thru to try and get the guy at home. Next pitch Maholm gets a hit and Wilson stops at second. WTF? -

I'd rather commend Hendry for giving us a Cubs team that has been the best team in baseball the past two months and will be a division winner this year...book it! And if you look objectively around baseball, there aren't too many teams who have the catcher position figured out. But, he created the hole at catcher.

Yes and hes only at 103, they probably figure the Cubs will make 3 outs before he reaches 110 and they are probably correct.

Gotta ask, which side of the CyHawk series are you rooting for? :lol: I am a Hawkeye fan at heart (since I was a kid). Went to undergrad at ISU, ;law school at U of I. I am a HUGE Kirk Ferentz fan.....Alford.....not so much. Am very interested in seeing what Chizik does in Ames--still shocked they got him to come up from Austin... Like Ferentz and hate Alford? Sounds like just about everyone else in Iowa City. :lol: Anyway, nice play by Wuertz to get the lead runner. Yep in my two years there that was the case.
