What are the cards behind us? i think they're pretty far out of the picture at the moment. They'd have to get as hot as we did in june to start being seriously in contention. If they win tonight, theyll be 5.5 behind us. I wouldn't worry about them until they get back over .500. Yeah but they have an easy schedule coming up.

Dont they have the pads first? Nope. However, they go to Pittsburgh and Washington. I dunno, the Cardinals could be 10 games out of 1st with 10 games left and I'd still be worried they'd somehow pull it off. I hate having to cheer for them.

He is a pitcher, there were no outs with the middle of your order coming up. soriano's hit was off the fence and marshall was barely moving. for someone who almost peed his pants about jones' baserunning last night, i can't believe you're cutting marshall slack right now. I would rather Sean take his time and still be able to pitch effectively. I am suprised your even watching this and not your Brewers. I mean after all your boyfriend pitched for us last night. well, you should be happy then, because marshall sure as hell took his time on that one. i guess quade should have been able to anticipate marshall's walking around the bases. and zing on the rich hill joke...you got me. I am about to drive to an Iowa Cub game and really get you. Wow. I am not even remotely serious. He can disagree with me if he wants. I just wanted to be like the guy in the story from rants.

I agree. He is a pitcher, there were no outs with the middle of your order coming up. Who cares if he is a pitcher? Most pitchers are fast enough to score from 2nd base on a double off the wall. Marshall loafed and paid for it. Nothing at all wrong with sending a runner FROM SECOND BASE on a DOUBLE. He should be able to score, but once he huffed to third and the ball was damn near in the infield we should have held him.
