Which would be stupid (though Lou seems to have a flair for overreacting - i.e. Dempster to the rotation for 5 minutes). Gallagher (nor Mateo) can outperform the 3 guys at the back of the rotation right now. guzman could...how long until he is healthy...any time in the near future? He had a set back in Mesa, he's not going to be ready till at least rosters expand. Damn, that guy can't buy a break.

Theriot made a diving stop and threw from his knees. The throw took a hop and Lee couldn't scoop it. It was just a tough play. Theriot probably should have eaten the ball since it would have been hard to make a great throw from his knees. Yeah, but we need outs and Lee usually makes the play. I really can't blame him for throwing it.

2nd best starting ERA in baseball. Only Marquis has an ERA above 4. So, you're comfortable with Hill, Marquis and Marshall starting a playoff game? Well only one of them will.

Are you seriously giving our pitcher a hard time because he didn't get a hit? No I wish he would have took a couple pitches though. I don't think he can hit, thus I wanted him to walk if possible.

Haha, awesome. Marquis does kinda suck. I'm not the biggest fan of Marquis but he has a 106 ERA+ and a sub 4.25 ERA. Not too shabby for the fifth best starter in the rotation. And who was on the trade market to acquire? Santana, just ask him. I agree we had to stay with what we had. I just am not a huge Marquis fan. He gets worse as the year goes on.

Haha, awesome. Marquis does kinda suck. The Cardinals would kill to have Jason Marquis back. Yeah, but that doesn't make him good, just shows how much they underestimated having starting pitchers. That or overestimated the charm in their butts.

I wouldnt say that after this week. This is a pretty good Phillie offense. They've scored the most runs in the NL by a wide margin (52 runs more than the Braves) and only the Yankees and Tigers have scored more in the AL. Yep, just be happy we missed Utley.
