note that this is absolutely a terrible way to judge whether a guy will be a good baseball player. Maybe, but I think the point he's making is fair: at the time we drafted Harvey, it was considered a great, great pick at the spot where we got him. Until his leg injury the year of the draft, he was definitely considered an easy top 3 pick, IIRC. So was Earl Cunningham when he was drafted. Same story, without the injury. The problem is the Cubs do not do a good job of developing these type players.
