Okay, I read back 5 pages to when I woke up and got to the thread, and the closest thing to personal attacks I've found are you being bitterly sarcastic towards people. What are you talking about? It isn't in this thread.

Yeah, there is also the fact that we aren't going to win 100 games. But, hey if you wanna think we are as good as we have played go right ahead. so the cards are for real and aren't going to fade away, and we arent as good as we are playing, so we're worse than the cards in your eyes? way to make up for it kosuke. I would say we are better then them, but they have always been a team that out performs what their talent level is. Be it coaching or execution.

    I sitll think baseball will be using the standard wins and losses this year again though. Hopefully they will play back to their record, but we are really getting tested with fluky performances from other teams within the division this year.

    The performance of Ludwick, Schumaker and Miles notwithstanding the key point is they're not pitchers, barring any trades the St. Louis staff is going to be their undoing. The bullpen is currently 24 of 30 in ERA, we've seen some of it and its not good, the starters are 9 of 30 in ERA - with the likes of Looper, Lohse, Piniero and Mitchell Boggs (who is 2-0 despite issuing more BB's than K's along with more hits than IP and 3 HR's in 16.1 IP!) - do you really believe this group is going to keep this up? They made Jeff Weaver into a stud. They can and will keep it up.

    I do think they should pay the players, although understand how it would be problematic with Title 9.
