  1. 60 day DL stint? After Geo breaks his hand on Marquis head maybe.
  2. that'd be a very poor move. their ERAs may be similar, but gallagher's peripherals offer much more promise than marquis. Yes, but Hendry signed Marquis and we are going to use him for all three years.
  3. The Cubs think so lowly of Sean Marshall we had to go trade for Steve Trachsell. We think highly of Marquis. Enough to give him a 3 year deal.
  4. How stupid is Lou? Why the hell would you ever walk the bases loaded with this clown on the mound?
  5. I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't have a problem with the move. Granted, it's going to look stupid if Marquis can't find the zone. It's a good move if you have any pitcher besides Marquis throwing. He is too inconsistant with the zone to do that.
  6. Hey look, there really slow guy was able to take an extra base.
  7. He had to hold up to make sure it wasn't caught. Even after that though, he should have been able to score. Markakis had to go aways to get it.
  8. Damn Edmonds, how does he not score on a ball hit over the second basemens head?
  9. Another big hit for Aaron Miles. This team is amazing.
  10. what did he say about Morrison and Redick when they were drafted? Redick needs to get the hell out of Orlando. He has no future on that team. I think he could become a decent role player, but it has to be the right situation. If he can't play as a spot up shooter on a team with the best low post player in basketball, where would he succeed? the problem is that they already have two perimeter players whose job it is to score in Turkoglu and Lewis. I get that, but shooting is maybe the toughest thing to find in the league. There is no question he could do that. SO why can't he even get on the court? Especially on a team that really doesn't have a two guard. The two you mentioned are still post players. I really think that Reddick is just this generation's Alford. There's a difference between being able to shoot and being able to create a shot in the nba. I have no doubt that he can sit outside the 3-point line and drain jumpers all night long, but i dont think he's quick, agile or strong enough to get his shot off in the league. kyle korver really isn't quick, agile or strong, and he's made a niche for himself in the league. don't know if reddick is slower than korver, but that seems hard to imagine, honestly. Korver is 6'6 and is being guarded by slower players than guard Redick, who has a size disadvantage to go along with his quickness disadvantage So he isn't very big, can't create his own shot, and isn't quick. Sounds like a bust that even the best change of scenery won't help. Note this doesn't even bring up the point he can't guard a chair in practice.
  11. I'm certainly not saying that stat doesn't have any value, because honestly I have no idea what it is, but Wood is #32 (just behind our old friend Ohman). Certainly you would have to agree he's a top 10, if not top 5, reliever in the game. Yep I still think he is behind KRod, Mariano, and Nathan. I am also partial to Marmol. But, Wood has been amazing.
  12. I wonder if Prior should try to do what Wood is? Or is it too late for that even?
  13. Not even the best on our team. It's debatable, but I'd still give Marmol the nod with the best stuff. although lately, I trust Woody more. But I would put Wood in the top 5 in baseball. Nice problem to have.
  14. LOL are you serious? 27 LOB Granted we have left a lot on base tonight. But we you get a lot of hits and score a lot of funs (and for the record 7 is a lot of runs) you leave a lot on base. I really think LOB is a REALLY OVERRATED stat unless you leave a lot on and only score 0-4 runs. Yeah, we all craved a more patient approach. The LOB is a result of it. I think it is a very good tradeoff.
  15. Murton! I'm going to guess that when Johnson comes back, EPatt stays, Fontenot is gone. I doubt it since Lou loves him.
  16. I say we talk about the Bulls' draft instead. Rose Rose Rose ESPN said bulls are leaning this way They have too pick Rose. If they don't and he blows up, Chicago will kill Paxson.
  17. I say we talk about the Bulls' draft instead. Go Rose. Pick Shaun Pruitt, win championships.
