Jereme Richmnd gets two Ts and now will miss his next game. Sounds like it wasn't really a huge deal, but with the trouble he had last year this isn't a good thing.

All these forty point games? Really there were only a few horrible games. The Illinoins Penn State game was the only one that was awful.

I prefer the style the big ten plays. But, I understand a lot of people don't. I do think it hurts the conference with recruiting though as we don't run as much as other leagues.

What has he done in the last 2 years to make you so sure? I'm not saying he can't, I just see no reason to believe it's a near certainty. He'll be eligible from the start of the season, no mid-December start, along with another year of being exposed to Weber' system. If he's ever to become a factor it's going to be next season, it's not a near certainty but, if Legion has Pro expectations the clock's ticking. I imagine he struggles to play over Paul and Richardson.

a lot of people said that about them last year too. the problem is, i don't know if they're good, really good or great. it's so hard to get a read on them every year because cusa is such a joke. People that thought that last year were crazy. CDR and Rose made them a final four contender. Evans isn't that good. Sweet Sixteen maybe Elite Eight.

You are kinda a matchup nightmare for us though. Even though every illini fan is convinced that Frazier is this great defensive stopper, he can't contain Battle at all. Also your big guy Cornley usualy gives us fits.

Yep really is a joke, plus it gives IU an advantage every year in the conference tournament.

It's very hard to offensive rebound when your bigs are setting screens 20 ft from the bucket. The one bad thing about a motion offense.

I love that they punished themselves during December after the signing period. Kinda like a kid getting in trouble for staying out too late and saying, "mom, dad, I messed up I shouldn't watch TV from 8am to 330pm each weekday."

Na, missed that one. I know that he he doesn't involve himself as much with the hands on part of the recruiting. Deron Williams has said in the past he was recruited there, but never spoke to Williams. Seems like an odd way to recruit.

I think they do. But whoever said it earlier was right--I think he would bolt for an ACC gig. Why? Why get in that conference with the two monsters? It eats up coaches. Pac Ten is where to go. Besides UCLA and Howland none of those other teams would scare me into thinking I couldn't outrecruit them. Maybe he waits for K to retire. by that time, Roy will likely be done, too. Dawkins is replacing K. I would imagine when Roy leaves Self will take the final step up. :-))

Wow just looked at OU's history. They are much better than I originally thought. Do they have the money to keep Capel around? I would think so from the football revenue.

I doubt i could turn the Big 10 network on and stay awake for three minutes. Yeah stupid Big Ten. You showed us. Turn on your Big 12 network instead. As a KU fan, it's called Big Monday. Thats Big East day to the rest of the nation.

MSU and IU are the only programs that are clearly better than OU. Illinois is only marginally better historically (one more FF, 100 or so more wins), but they have a better recruiting bed, so I guess that makes it a better job. I suppose you could maek an argument for michigan too, but they haven't been relevant for 15 years. Everyone else is below OU, imo. Ohio State 10 final fours with one title.

It doesn't, I feel ad for them. They are loaded this year and still weren't able to win their conference. I would be more afraid that Capel leaves for Arizona.

Well if OU ever has a better player than Blake Griffin and if KU is ever younger than this year, that would be the time for the Sooners to win the conference. Wait, what's that? Those two things will never happen?
