I think the rationale that the players aren't very good is pretty reasonable. Tell that to Louisville, Duke, Kansas, UCLA, Missouri, Florida State, Texas, Butler, Oklahoma State, Boston College, et al. Manny Harris is as good as anyone in America.

Phelps is out of his mind. Michigan St. can't get a 1 seed because the conference is bad. Yet, in the next breath he says keep an eye on Memphis for a 1 seed. Yes you bag of feces the number 2 rpi conference is worse than the Big 10. Sorry we made our own network ESPN. Keep ripping on us.

I like him because he isn't an ACC schill. I'll take a guy who is an ACC schill over a doofus who keeps talking about how Wisconsin is like a non-glazed doughnut. Yeah he's a dork, but at the same time we can cut back to the studio to have Digger Phelps rip on Michigan State for only putting up 64 points. "that won't get it done." Yeah Digger I'm sure the next time Tom Izzo needs some help on getting a team deep into a tournament he will turn to you, after all you have such a long history of success. But he beat UCLA once when they were really good. Oh, I'm well aware. He even had them practice cutting down the nets before hand. I also saw him during Gameday this year pose as a statue in front of Notre Dame. Why not just plead openly for ND to build you one? Oh that's right casue you're a clown that they forced out.

yeah, he is. really strange that a team with two pretty good players would have gone winless in a watered-down big east. Yeah, i kinda find it humorous though. Dar should have came to the other school in Illinois. We would be pretty freaking good with him.

Yes, I read it. It had the sad music and then Jay Bilas? I think talking when I first clicked on it. It was fine, but damn do we always have to get a huge Duke piece before the tourny? My favorite part was the story about how he bettered Jordan in 90. Was pretty neat. No Chester's dad wasn't an NBA player, but I bet Chester misses him just as much as Nolan does his NBA playing dad.

I'm aware that it was nothing like them, I said that I almost liked it as much. I really liked the part where coach K had to tell Nolan he wasn't starting. How would he handle it? Where's the article about Chester Frazier's dad dying this past year and Chester playing this year in honor of him? ESPN not have time to write that one?

Yeah maybe if it wasn't another fluff piece by ESPN about Duke. How bout they quit shoving them down everyone else's throats? Maybe then people would stop hating Duke. Chester Fraizer lost his dad last year. I'm sure he misses him as much as Nolan Smith does his dad. They are probabbly just late getting around to that article. Pretty much every team deals with issues like this, but when it's at Duke we get these type stories from ESPN. Oh you shouldn't hate them, something bad happened to them. Did you read it? Yes I read it. It was almost as good as the one they ran about JJ writing poetry. Or the piece of "journalism" they put out about Shelden Williams' rape case. The one where they were able to declare it a non issue without even interviewing the girl. Poor, poor Duke players.

Living in Kansas City, I could say your fans are right up there with them. All fans are annoying. But, if KU had been involved with the Piggie case, you bet it would have made more of a splash on ESPN. Hell the Wall thing was a big deal on ESPN. That's what I hate more than anything. I don't even mind the Duke fans. They are kinda dorky at Cameron, but the ESPN love is what is ridiculous.

Why I hate UNC is that they are everything Duke is, except because not as many people hate them, their fans are even more holier than thou. At least for the most part, of the Duke fans I know, they actually understand it, the UNC faithful are agasp at the very thought that someone could dislike them. Yeah the two of them are pretty close. I hate UNC more because of '05 than anything else though.
