Feel bad for Wichita. They are too good to be remembered as a mid major that got eliminated in the first weekend. This is what the committee wanted by loading this bracket. Yep. The committee set them up to fail, and its [expletive]. The officiating in that game was....not good. I agree with all of this. Harrison was allowed to just drop his shoulder and bulldoze his way to the basket on several occasions and then they started calling all the touch fouls the last few minutes. Although in the refs' defense, I haven't seen any particularly well officiated games in this tournament. It seems like they're letting them play most of the game and then tightening things up at the end, which is completely unfair to the players. Wichita had the audacity to try and steal the spotlight, the NCAA took care of them. Sad.

He wasn't interested in the Illinois job, but takes that one. Interesting... When the UI job opened, was the Big East not yet a steaming pile of crap? If not, I can see why he'd want to get out of Marquette a little more now. The quality of that conference has taking a serious dip. I'm pretty sure that it was at least on it's way. With Syracuse and Pitt already leaving.

I don't think he's in anything that's out this year because of the way topps does cards now. He has some cards in the past bowman draft sets and topps heritage minors tho. -

In one model (the first one), they would have been the last team in. In the second model, they would have been the first team out. Damn, I really think we would have beat OSU today as well. We were playing very well.

Corey Patterson is the only one in that group hyped as much as the core four. I don't think any of the other guys made the top 30 like these guys have.

Well losing Embiid makes you look a lot more human on defense. Last three games you have given up over 90 twice. I just hope we can win enough games till he comes back, though I'm not convinced there's really any chance he will. I can't imagine he will really be back this year, if he really has a broken bone in his back.

Without Embiid it will be tough to win for KU. Kane will be living at our basket. And I have no idea who will defend Niang. Probably one of your highly ranked kids who wouldn't have given ISU the time of day out of high school? Seriously, you'll be fine. Told you we didn't have anyone to guard Niang. Embiid bothered him a bit. Traylor and Black can't stay w him. I can't believe that you guys are this bad on defense. Very unSelf like.

That strikes me as a much more difficult shot to bank, IMO. Yeah the angle on that is tough to bank, he just short armed it. Gotta have some more touch and get it above the rim. probably right. he wasnt right up the middle, a little more at the side. I was surprisingly more mad about Illinois losing than I thought. Probably because the had it and blew itMan I thought we had this one, this one is going to hurt.
