  1. jerrance tells klee he is staying. yes.
  2. Right, so why wouldn't he want to go to one of those instead of some sweep of a doubleheader in May of 2004? Because he's trolling? Yes. Jake is definitely trolling. And he's also definitely the only one doing so in this thread. I know Jake isn't a troll, but that response was just dumb. Why would that be the one game he would want to go to? Congrats those wins really meant a lot for your franchise they propelled you to 6 more losing seasons. Meanwhile you could have watched Honus Wagner play. yeah, dummy. what an appalling waste of a time-travelling opportunity. God I love it when you venture out of your cave to post on things other than movies.

  5. Turner to Utah would have been awesome.
  6. None of those guys can touch John Wall. They'd better not trade that pick.
  7. Man if only Silva had shown some signs that he was losing his stuff before that at bat... :banghead:
  8. That'd be par for the course. Keep dumping good starters in the pen instead of sticking one of your two below average ones out there. Only the Cobs.
  9. Lol, that was like your World Series. Congrats. I would like to go back to when Dave Littlefield tried to convince everyone else in the room that it was a great idea to throw in Aramis Ramirez in the Lofton trade. "come on guys I know he's only like 24 and has been pretty good when healthy and is still cost controlled, but lets move him now before he's value added enough to get a good return." "Great idea Dave."
  10. Maybe they should build a better ballclub? Ron was there through many crappy years of product from the Cubs, it won't hurt them to have a few years at less than his best now.
  11. Rick Sutcliffe makes me want to poke my ears out with a compass.
  12. Yeah no, I don't think it was erik. Cause whoever this was was like why not just post picks of fetuses and aliens instead of your newborns. yeah, i didn't think it was erik I wanna say the guy had a blackhawk with some numbers on his avatar?
  13. It's not bad juju, although I will admit it seems a lot of bad crap happens to this franchise that is hard to believe.
  14. True, but they weren't in '08. And it still didn't matter. Plus it angers me that for a second I thought they could do it and I told myself after '03 I would never ever believe that again. If we were up 3-0 in the World Series at this point, I know we would be the team that gave that away.
  15. I know, but never before have we just dominated a season like that then to have it just crash down. But, 2003 hurts way more still. It's just having 2003 happen and then 2008 that quickly after. I just expect crap to happen to our franchise now.
  16. It just doesn't bother me anymore. 2008 used up a lot of energy.
  17. And if the refs don't listen to what Phil says, then this might actually be a fair series. It seems to me that the older Phil gets the more dependant on help from the refs he needs. Actually the older Kobe gets, the more dependant on referees Phil gets.
  18. Na it wasn't Sulley because he had pics of his daughter as his avatar at that point.
  19. Kentucky is really hard after him it sounds like, why? They are getting whoever the hell they want now anyways. Going after Jerrance only hurts us, it can't really help them.
  20. That's kinda what I was thinking.
  21. Yeah no, I don't think it was erik. Cause whoever this was was like why not just post picks of fetuses and aliens instead of your newborns.
  22. I was there! Me too, Hee Seop Choi day against Glendon Rusch. Dusty gave Choi the day off even though his parents had travelled to see him.
  23. I might have missed it, but what's the deal with Brett Jackson?
  24. Yeah it was very foolish, I think erik had his child right when I did, so I don't think it was him.
