Well, Lohse's replacement, P.J. Walters has been impressive this year in the minors and has been better than Lohse. Wells strikes him out. It doesn't matter what piece of Howry you put in your rotation, they'll do just fine. Eh, the bullpen seems burnt out right now. It may be addition by subtraction. Your team era is sub 3. That's so burnt out. -

It's not really weird. He would have been about the sixth or seventh guard on the depth chart. It's not weird that a guy who is less than 12 months from graduation and gave up basketball a year ago to focus on education is transferring schools? Oh man, he's pry in big trouble if his family has to pay for an extra year of school or two. Come on he's rich beyond his wildest dreams and has a career at Nike waiting for him whenever he decides to take it.

Who gives a s**t about vacated wins. It's so meaningless. yeah, i guess you're right. national championships mean nothing the second after they're won. I'd be willing to bet that if Chalmers would've missed that three, those wins wouldn't have been taken away. Go to hell Mario Chalmers by the way. Well that makes it ok then. The 2008 Championship game was the high ground when it came to squeaky clean programs, no doubt about it.

The beautiful thing is he still can't win it all. Bend every rule you can Cal, you still can't get it done. Oh and you still have pee on your shoe from when Bill Self pimp smacked you down the stretch of the '08 game. And it really hurts me to have to even like that a bit.

So what exactly did Cal come up with that changed his mind so quickly? What a farce this guy is making of the NCAA. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/2010-04-27-ncaa-president-emmert_N.htm woops! Won't matter. Coach Cal is untouchable. The talking heads at ESPN don't even go after him. I get he's Italian and thus Vitale is in love with him, but what about Bilas and Gotlieb? Why can't these guys even question him? What is there to go after Calipari for? I think we all agree that the NCAA is a sham and is a money-making organization masquerading as being about the student-athletes. I have no problem with coaches like Calipari who take one-and-dones and hand them off to the NBA, exposing the system for what it is. Marcus Camby was sat up with an agent while playing for Cal. Rose had someone take his SAT for him. I'm sure you think that Cal had nothing to do with either of these things?

Every time someone mentions DFA with a player, it always takes me back to the Arizona D'Backs and Russ Ortiz. I mean Arizona was in financial troubles, yet the still ate a good 2.5 years, at least, left on Ortiz's contract, and yet the Cubs won't release ANYBODY unless it's absolutely, positively the only move to make, nevermind keeping said player is demoralizing a team with such bad play. That's because the Diamondbacks GM made a mistake and Jim Hendry has never, ever made a mistake.

Hey, Hill is what he is: a backup catcher. Can't really fault the guy for Lou's decisions to play him too often. Yeah I don't blame him for Lou's weird fascination with him.
