  2. I'd agree with all those except Utah State. I think they're largely getting a raw deal, and should get credit for winning a top 10 league (about as much credit as LSU should for winning the SEC). Cincinnati maybe has a shot if they reach the BE Finals. Other than that it'd take an auto-bid to get any of those teams in, likely. Which means Green Bay, Illinois State, and Niagara would be out completely. EDIT: I'd also dump Davidson. They have really nothing to stand on other than "look at what we did last year", which isn't a committee criteria. Also, Niagara may be getting a raw deal, as their resume is about as good as St. Mary's. Not sure if that's good for Niagara or bad for St. Mary's. I agree with that list with the exception of Utah State, Cinci(assuming they win at least 2 games) Northwestern(see cinci).
  3. I think you need to remove Gonzaga since they won there conference tournament.
  4. The teams in bold shouldn't have a shot. Agreed? Agreed although I think you could add Georgetown to that list too.
  5. Said before the end of Tuesday so get on it ... Thank you missed that the first time I read it. Guess ill do it now heh.
  6. These due in at a certain time or just before selection sunday.
  7. so we have to create another 16 team list not including the 8 teams that were selected as locks and the teams that won there conference tournaments. Same goes for the bubble teams choose 8 not including the 5 that were chosen.
  8. I'm sure you just accidentally glossed over them, but how do you not have Louisville as a lock? His rep is Louisville, so he's not allowed to vote for them. Ya i was not allowed to pick Louisville otherwise obviously they would have been in my top 5 bumping memphis down to 6. As to why I put LSU up there to be honest the SEC is the only major conference I don't really pay attention too. I think the only SEC team I seen play this year is Kentucky and that was when they play Louisville. Being a major conference I guess I kinda felt obligated to give them 1 "lock" team and year LSU won the SEC I think, that is why I went with them.
  9. Locks 1. Pittsburg 2. UCONN 3. UNC 4. Oklahoma 5. Memphis 6. Michigan State 7. Wake Forest 8. Kansas 9. Duke 10. Villanova 11. LSU 12. Gonzaga 13. UCLA 14. Washington 15. Xavier 16. Purdue 8 Considerations 1. Texas 2. Utah 3. Tennessee 4. Byu 5. Cal 6. Creighton 7. Utah State 8. Michigan is what I pm'd Bukie but now I kinda want to remove Creighton after there aweful loss and put in someone like Wisconsin.
  10. St Marys beat Portland to advance to the WAC championship. Obviously if they beat Gonzaga the WAC gets 2 teams but they still might be in even if they lose.
  11. woot ville won the big east.
  12. East Tennessee State and Radford are now in.
  13. Ya both Baylor and Vermont are for done for.
  14. ouch good thing i learned about that now I was so gonna take him in fantasy baseball.
  15. Not that Ryan Leaf was a good pick, but I'm pretty sure he was the second overall pick not the #1 pick. Not to defend Ryan Leaf or anything but he had all the physical tools to be a successful player in the NFL he just turned out to be a moron. He is a large reason they have huge psych evaluations for players specially quarterbacks now. He was truly the consensus #2 player behind Peyton Manning. SD just got unlucky and well maybe should have done a little more evaluations outside of the football field.
  16. maybe I am just miss remembering but wasn't he drafted as a shortstop not a pitcher?
  17. I think Manny and Boras might have just screwed themselves now though. I highly doubt he will get a better offer from someone than what the dodgers just offered him.
  18. Titans Chargers Panthers Giants
  19. Wasn't Jonny Gomes soppose to be a big time prospect at one point.
  20. Bradford stats are seriously inflated by very poor defenses in the Big 12 + Bob Stoops desire to run up the score in every single game. The Sec has far better defenses + Tebow is usually out of the game in the 3rd or 4th quarter and has no real shot to pad his stats. I would be fine with either Tebow or Mccoy winning the heisman I don't think Bradford deserves it at all.
  21. Harden, Soto, Marmol and Zambrano.
  22. I would have puked a bit if we made that trade. I don't have much faith in Fukudome being a good player but that would have been a horrible trade, Silva is absolute garbage.
  23. picking the teams does not seem that tough, but struggling with the confidence points.
  24. Ya I was just thinking that. Street is a hell of a lot better than kevin gregg has or will ever be.
  25. If we trade Cedeno + Mark Derosa who would back up the MI if Fontenot or Theriot got hurt or was ineffective?
