    The best part of the article was when Bailey said, "And he didn't enamor himself with the team when he was demoted to Louisville in early August and said he welcomed the demotion because Louisville had a winning atmosphere and the clubhouse was more fun." Not something you should really tell your ball club but it is pretty funny because its true.

    The only pitcher I would rather have than Halladay Is Santana, Peavy would be a close 2nd though. That being said there is no way we can afford Toronto asking price.

    dang I should have entered a contest where you guess every major award given out in the offseason. I usually suck at it but this year I was right on. Pedroia he is no Albert Pujols but I don't see anyone in the Al more deserving then he was this year. I am sure he will never win it again but I think the writers got it right this year.

    If he is a cheap as they say he is then we could easily put together a package for him. He would greatly improve our team. They would probably have to absorb some of the contract and if they did that we would probably have to add more in but it would be worth it for sure.

    I get the random blind guess of zambrano, he has had a temper in the past and seems to like to play practical jokes (depending on whether the pipe was broken out of anger or as a joke). But..DLee? Huh? I think Lee is being seen as a guess because he was the only one who threw anything during the game. He was pretty upset when he cracked his helmet. I would guess Derek Lee too because he is the only one capable of hitting anything.

    The Fish JUST signed him to a 6 year extension. Like four months ago. Dammit! We just missed our opportunity. That doesnt sound. like their MO. Oh well,back to ludicrous trade proposals. JR Mathes, Ryan Harvey, and Mark Pawelek for Grady Sizemore. Theriot and Fontenot for Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla. We don't need Dan Uggla we already have a 2b who can't field. 12 year 500Million dollar contract for Sabathia. Sabathia would be perfect for this team. He is fully capable of choking like the best of them.

    what difference does it make, the man is the new "4-3" pierre, he can't lift the ball out of the infield anymore Ya fukudome is not going to hit the ball even if he swung at it. His best bet is just to stand there and pray the pitcher has control issues.

    Had he said that about three weeks ago in General Baseball, no one would have thought anything of it. Saying it in the middle of a contentious game thread full of pissed off Cubs fan is generally a bad idea. So the truth is bad? So after Al Davis dies, would it be appropriate to go to his funeral and scream "AL WAS AN A-HOLE!!!!" in front of his mourning family? I mean, it's true. Warren Sapp would do it.
