Why would we even consider trading Javy? He's obviously an asset to the team. He's not even arbitration eligible for another 2 years and even then it's not like we couldn't afford him. Not having Javy on this team would be awful.
That'd be effing stupid. I'd prefer we not trade a guy with a damn near historic glove that can hit 25-30 HR. Schwarber seems to be the obvious trade bait. He needs to go be a DH somewhere.
Maybe I'm daft for thinking like this, but I have some weird disconnect with these Astros being the same Astros that we played for so many years. It's like it's a completely different franchise in my brain.
