  1. Girardi catching in the pen? Hogwash....I want to see Yogi doing that. Now that would be funny/tragic.
  2. LOL....Soriano literally being shown that all he can do is sit on the bench and pick his nose.
  3. Ugh, not one of these slow ass, Bleeding Gums Murphy, renditions.
  4. I expect it is only because the outcome this year might be of some consequence to us.
  5. that show was weird. I could never figure out where they held it. Some stadium with 15 foot ivy covered walls and houses behind them I'm pretty sure those were all filmed at Wrigley Field....but the one in Los Angeles. It was. meaning what, a studio lot? No. There was a minor-league park in LA named Wrigley Field where they filmed those.
  6. Wait..."it's a fallacy to think that pitcher's get it exactly where they want it all the time" LOL....Tim....just stop.
  7. Mazeroski was at second. Are you kidding me!? A career line of .260/.299/.367, 84 OPS+, is DEFINITELY Hall of Fame worthy.
  8. I'd guess that many, if not most, do. I would think the last thing they are doing is watching baseball. I think you'd be surprised. Yeah, they all have a friend or a teammate in the game. Right, and most of them are probably just hanging around the house with their family.
  9. I just got angry all of the sudden thinking about how Ron should have been standing out there at third. That stuff really pisses me off sometimes. How can you be a near unanimous top 10 player EVER at your position and not be in the HOF? Freaking ridiculous.
  10. I'd guess that many, if not most, do. I would think the last thing they are doing is watching baseball. I think you'd be surprised.
  11. I just realized I haven't seen our greasy commish tonight. Thankfully. Maybe MLB retired him from public appearances after his drunken display at the draft.
  12. Congrats to Tim and Buck for not mentioning that Manny and Aramis are cousins. Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Naomi Campbell? That was my initial thought. But she's in her late 30's I think. That girl looked younger.
  14. Official list of the HOFer's still living not in attendance: Sparky Anderson Johnny Bench Jim Bunning Bobby Doerr Carlton Fisk Monte Irvin George Kell Sandy Koufax Joe Morgan Stan Musial Nolan Ryan Red Schoendienst Tom Seaver Duke Snider Carl Yastrzemski Interesting that New York fixtures Seaver and Snider weren't there.
  15. Damn, who's the chick in that LifeWater commercial??
  16. Skilled hitters CAN change their strokes. I'm sure if Ichiro tried to hit for power everytime he went up to the plate, he'd have a good bit many homers. But that would probably come at a large cost to his OBP.
  17. Tim saying Ichiro might be a HOFer???? NO WAY!
  18. Baseball still has the best All-Star game And it's not even close. I agree. It's kind of hard to play baseball "half-speed" simply because of the mechanics of it all. It just doesn't work.
  19. Yogi is definitely showing his age unfortunately.
