  1. no Aramis!!! GRRR :-( East coast writers padding Wright's HOF resume already. :-P
  2. Today will bring my career record back to an even 2-2. I'm 0-2 so far.

  4. Best part about it is just how some people are completely oblivious. It looks like the lady behind the guy getting jacked is shoving popcorn in her mouth.
  5. http://myfunnypics.org/d/1379-1/Funny+photo+of+a+baseball+fan+getting+scared.jpg I think this one is pretty damn good too: http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/6211/arghtfg6.jpg That little kid on the top left is the best. Sucks for the guy getting hit in the face though.

  7. lol oh god, I don't miss seeing those at all. If I had any sort of computer skills, I'd make a .gif of a Fukucopter, throwing some video in there backwards to make it look like he was doing a complete rotation. is that a hint? It'd be pretty funny. I'll get on that in the morning.
  8. lol oh god, I don't miss seeing those at all.
  9. Wonder what the spread is against Vandy for Florida? 24, 30? :-)
  10. I agree. Seems obvious to me after watching them absolutely obliterate LSU and Georgia and seeing them outscore their last 4 SEC opponents by a total of 158 POINTS.
  11. screw Texas, I hope they lose. I love BCS craziness. The more BCS madness that exists the sooner we might get to some form of playoff in CFB.
  12. You got a believer in this Bama fan. Ole Miss by all rights should be closer to 8-2, or 7-3 at worst. If Snead can developed into a consistant passer, you guys would have won. Not to mention I love Ole Miss's RBs, McCluster, and Davis, I can't think of the third one, but he is a good one, also. Eason and Bolden are the other two runners. McCluster and Bolden are both averaging over 5 ypc this season. They put up 233 rushing yds today on an Auburn defense that normally only allows 128 yards a game on the ground.
  13. But they didn't make the PAT. They missed it. And because of that they lost a game to a team that isn't very good. You play to win the game. Losing the game is a bad thing, no matter how it happened. And as was addressed, the fact that they were in the position to play to OT against Ole Miss is embarrassing enough already. Look, if anyone on this board likes to attack Ole Miss football, it's me. They've made me sick my entire life, but Ole Miss isn't bad this year. They beat Florida at Florida and came real damn close to beating Alabama at Alabama. Two of their losses came not because they were outplayed by the other team, but because they played like a bunch of howryheads. Against Vandy, Ole Miss had 385 yards to Vandy's 202 yards, but because the dumbasses had six turnovers and 82 yards worth of penalties, they lost. Pretty much the same story in their 31-24 loss against South Carolina. They had two absurd redzone fumbles within the 10 yard line and another fumble that was picked up and returned like 50 yards for a touchdown. Of course I realize that teams often lose in a fashion like that and I'm not really whining about it, but I'm just trying to point out that Ole Miss is better than their 5-4 record suggests. It's not like Florida got beat by Mississippi State or something.
  14. Ehhh....they are much better than their record suggests, but I think you are way off on what you are saying. They might could be 4 or 5 in the Big 10, but definitely not top two.

  16. Tyrus Raymond Cobb aka The Georgia Peach: 1911 American League MVP Detroit Tigers (1905-1926) Philadelphia Athletics (1927-1928) 162 Game Avg: .366/.433/.512, 167 OPS+, 6 HR, 39 Doubles, 16 Triples, 103 RBI, 120 Runs, 48 SB Best Season (1911): .420/.467/.621, 196 OPS+, 8 HR, 47 Doubles, 24 Triples, 127 RBI, 147 Runs, 83 SB 1st All-Time in Batting Avg: .366 2nd All-Time in Runs: 2246 2nd All-Time in Hits: 4189 2nd All-Time in Singles: 3053 2nd All-Time in Doubles: 724 2nd All-Time in Triples: 295 4th All-Time in Stolen Bases: 892 5th All-Time in Total Bases: 5854 5th All-Time in Runs Created: 2522 10th All-Time in OPS+: 167 7th All-Time in RBI: 1937 Some quotes about Ty from some of the greats: "Ty Cobb is not only the greatest player in the history of the American League, but of all time. His achievements on the diamond are so notable that I doubt if the game ever produces his equal, certainly not his superior." - Connie Mack "His gifts are so unusual, so far above the next best, that he stands in a class by himself. I have never seen and never expect to see from any other person such wonderful playing as Ty Cobb has performed at his very best" - Eddie Collins "Ty was the smartest player that I ever saw by so great a margin that I won't even bother to think who was second best." - Walter Johnson "The greatness of Ty Cobb was something that had to be seen, and to see him was to remember him forever." - George Sisler "The greatest ballplayer I ever saw? Well, I'll have to say Ty Cobb. He could do more with a bat than any player in my time and I don't suppose there ever was a base runner like him. They'll tell you he wasn't much of a fielder, but he was good enough. I know he took a lot of base hits away from me out there." - Babe Ruth ""I never saw anyone like Ty Cobb. No one even close to him as the greatest all-time ballplayer. Ruth was sensational. Cobb went beyond that. When he wiggled those wild eyes at a pitcher, you knew you were looking at the one bird no one could beat. It was like he was superhuman." - Casey Stengel "I naturally appreciate all the nice things Ty has said about me being the 'greatest hitter in baseball," but that is one time the Georgia Peach is wrong. The greatest hitter and the greatest player I ever saw was one Tyrus Raymond Cobb." - Shoeless Joe Jackson photos inside spoiler Here are a couple of videos I put together. Game footage of Cobb playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4y9ml7VhlY Cobb giving a radio interview in 1930, talking about baseball....he even picks the Cubs to win the pennant! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzkEphQAi7U

  19. Saints are gonna blow this damn game
  20. Reggie Bush? Who dat? Saints offense is going nuts on the Chargers. Brees is 19/23, 198 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT still in the second quarter.
  21. i really don't know, but could Deuce appeal his suspension and do it when Bush is back? Not sure on that. It has also just been released that Charles Grant got busted as well. So, for a month, the Saints don't have either starting RB or either starting DE.
  22. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orl-nflbeat2508oct25,0,4571402.story Saints season OVAH. With Bush out for a month with his knee injury and now Deuce going to be out for a month for these water pills, the Saints only running back is Pierre Thomas. This is awful.
