    OK, here is something for SSR to really bitch about. Florida is up 56-6 with under five minutes to play and they march down the field throwing 4 pass plays for 48 yards but are mercifully stopped when they fumbled on Troy's 15 yd line.

    yeah, I know. I'm going to have to dive into the css of this bad boy at some point this morning. It's also a big change for me because I had the "classic" (or whatever) board preference turned on when you switched to phpbb3.0. In other words, I was two "looks" behind, so now the new look is very jarring. I'm sure I'll get used to it same here. it's weird having the avatars on the right side of the page.

    Saints signed Chase Daniel. Good move, as he should learn alot from Drew, given that Daniel is very similar to Brees with both being shorter than normal QB's.

    lol, I dunno about all that. I just think it's a bit much to bitch about a bunch of scrub third stringers running plays up the middle to run the clock out of a game. If the guy had been tackled and the clock had run out, nobody would have said anything about it. If you want to gripe about RUTS, look at USC throwing passing TD's in the 4th quarter while up 49-3. Even in that situation it doesn't bother me all too much. The guys on both sides of the ball want to PLAY. I can pretty much guarantee you that nobody on San Jose's defense was begging for mercy. I can't recall ever playing in a baseball game where my team was getting our ass kicked and saying "jeez, I wish they would just weakly ground out on purpose."
