  1. Well, as Rob pointed out in the other thread, his splits are pretty bad. So the Rox would probably be better just moving Hawpe and having Gonzalez play RF and Smith play LF next year.
  2. More on the Rox: They have a serious, serious logjam currently happening in their OF with Brad Hawpe, Carlos Gonzalez, Dexter Fowler, Seth Smith, Eric Young Jr. AND Ryan Spillboroughs all vying for playing time. I think the Rox are pretty high on keeping Gonzalez and Fowler, but I bet they'd likely part with Smith OR even Brad Hawpe. Hawpe has a contract though that is a bit scary. (2010: $7.5 million, 2011: $10 million club option w/$500,000 buyout). I say that they'd likely part with Hawpe because an OF of Smith, Fowler, and Gonzalez is young, strong, fast, and cheap. And the Rockies front office is notoriously cheap.
  3. try and steal my boy Seth Smith from the Rox. They have way too many good outfielders as is and he'll likely just be a backup next year. 307 AB's, .303/.387/.531, .918 OPS, 133 OPS+
  4. the cynical guy in me would said it was his contract year.
  5. i dont want to fall into sullivan's trap, but by the looks of things, a lot. Lee and Ramirez and company weren't exactly wishing him a fond farewell. Absolutely, and like I said earlier, if they are actually willing to say the things they said in that article, then it is likely alot worse.
  6. Probably someone who can put up a 9.1 VORP
  7. meaning: people who disagree with you right?
  8. At least his contract isn't Alexis Rios'
  9. Look I guess you could call me a Bradley detractor, but I'm not saying he "sucks" or anything like that. He's just nowhere near where he was supposed to be offensively and add onto the fact that he's obviously a clubhouse cancer (as witnessed by a bunch of his teammates coming out against him today) and I'm all for cutting him loose. And I agree there are plenty of other scapegoats. I'm not trying to scapegoat the guy, I just don't think his productivity is something that is irreplaceable.
  10. Good thing Bradley produced THIS YEAR for us. Oh my God, I really think you do this just to get a rise out of people yet you continue to ignore the facts about Bradley's productivity this year. what the hell are you talking about? You folks keep bringing up his "productivity" as if it is something to write home about. 9.1 VORP, 3.2 WARP3, .775 OPS That's hardly irreplaceable. I don't know who is out there we can get or who we can promote, but those are hardly great numbers. you think those would be his numbers next year? they could be worse for all you or I know. More likely he'd suffer some season ending injury in the first week.

  12. Good thing Bradley produced THIS YEAR for us. Almost exactly like a league-average RF, yup. Well if he's only giving us average production then maybe we can get a truly average RF who isn't a cancer in the clubhouse.
  13. and so what if he does? He didn't want to be here and it's apparent that both the management and the players didn't like him either.
  14. Well he wasn't producing like he was getting paid for, how about that.
  15. I'm pretty sure she is one of them but she may be the hottest of them all. Let me ask the mirror on the wall. Mississippi girl...just sayin
  16. I don't think so. He wasn't producing worth squat and his teammates clearly didn't care for his attitude (and it's probably worse than what they admitted to in the article).
  17. Faith Hill might be one of the hottest 42 year old women in the world
  18. there's some pretty damning stuff in that article. wow
  19. Cutler is pretty good when he wants to be
  20. VORP of 9.1 is 24th amongst RFers.
  21. My P-Willy video that I made several years ago while he was still in college. The tackle at :10 in is one of the best ever.
  22. I don't mind. Keading is my kicker
  23. exactly. it would be VERY easy for Bradley to argue that the suspension was arbitrary and capricious.
  24. He does that to a lot of people
