  1. the Big Ten SUCKS this year. On the other hand there is a tremendous amount of parity this year in the SEC.
  2. name the 3rd best team in the Pac 10. hell, name the 4th best SEC team. Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina? not to mention LSU. I have LSU at 3rd in the SEC, even though I think they are way way overrated this year.

  4. The game that called the Ark-Fla game last week has been suspended. THANK GOD, because they were scheduled to do the Ole Miss/Ark game this week and I woulda been pretty scared of some big makeup calls.
  5. The similarity in these numbers is pretty awesome. MLB.com has his number of pitches at 25684. well baseball-reference tells mlb.com to go to hell.

  7. She's destined to forever be a screencap used the next time the Yanks play the Angels.
  8. Swisher just got called out for leaving third too early on a sac fly. I've actually never seen that called.
  9. no idea

  11. I took an adderall at like 4pm for whatever reason and so I got really intense on it. This and the MLB one probably took 2 hours total.
  12. Yes, looking back on the "steroids era", some of those stats are just ludicrous. Look at the awards voting for the year 2000. There was a guy in the NL with .314/.391/.636 and 44 HR, 122 RBI that came in 20th! In the AL that same year a guy with .333/.407/.523 and 29 HR, 144 RBI came in 11th.
  13. That's correct!
  14. Maddux had 134 wins in the decade. If he had pitched another season he might have caught up with Pettitte and thus would have led the past two decades in wins.
  15. and Ichiro didn't even play in 2000
  16. But ... but .... but he threw a shutout on 09/24 in 2003. that one game probably kept him from having the worst WHIP in the past 30 years. :-)
  17. Estes only had 152 IP and thus didn't qualify for the 162 minimum that is necessary for an ERA title, which is what I used for best and worst with regard to ERA's. FWIW, the biggest loser at a minimum of 25 IP goes to Steve Smyth in 2002 with a 9.35. Minimum of 50 it goes to Ruben Quevedo in 2000 with 7.47, and at 100 it goes to the aforementioned Mr. Estes, of whom it should also be mentioned has the worst WHIP of any starting pitcher throughout all of baseball over the entire decade.
  18. I'm forever pissed that he's talking about freaking shoes when THIS occurred: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMZpTQmA-I8
  19. OMG, who is this "woman" that is interviewing people on ESPN right now?

  23. I had to make a minimum, so I went with 1000 IP. That seemed fair.
  24. The age thing wasn't working well apparently. oh, and gaetti is only older by 4 days!
