    Regarding Glavine, 300 wins goes a long way toward perception. We are talking about baseball history after all, are we not? I mean, I didn't assume the question was "who would you want on the mound in their prime" because I'd probably only rather have about 10 of those guys over Halladay if that were the case.

    203 wins, 131 ERA+, 2 Cy Young Awards Off the top of my head, pitchers that most would probably put higher than him: Pedro, Walter Johnson, Koufax, Seaver, Glavine, Rivera, Clemens, Mathewson, Feller, Maddux, Randy Johnson, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Lefty Grove, Carlton, Cy Young, Nolan Ryan, Hubbell, Smoltz, Bob Gibson. I'm sure i'm forgetting several, so maybe he is around 25 or so?

    Literal laugh out loud. He's acting about as clumsy as people in infomercials trying to figure out how to work a blanket or pour a soda. Although he is right when he says "what a piece of [expletive]." I guess Oswald couldn't afford an .03 Springfield or 1917 Enfield. In the same magazine where that Carcano sold for 19 dollars, an 03 Springfield was just being sold for 30 bucks. A 98k Mauser would have been great and not too expensive. Basically any military bolt action rifle at the time was better than a Carcano.
