    what the hell. That's bizarre. I suppose I know about freak injuries though. When I tore my ACL in my right knee I was throwing back to the shortstop to start around the horn after a ground out (lefty first baseman). That was something I had done surely thousands of times but it just so happened that my plant leg got caught funny or something.

    Sounds ugly. Definitely wouldn't want anything near my eyes. I have a doozy of a scar on my lip from getting hit in the face by a line drive. Lefty was bunting in an obvious bunt situation, I was coming in from first, and he slapped it right at me. I was able to get my glove on it a bit which slowed it down somewhat but the deflection nailed my mouth. Multiple stitches. I'm glad college has those composite bats now. The old bats that had such a huge trampoline effect were terrifying for fielders and pitchers.

    Lance Lynn struck out 8 Atlanta batters in a row; 10k in 4 IP today. Jeez.

    Robinson definitely showed some flashes that he could be a special player last year. And Ingram looked like a monster near the end of the season with his increased touches.

    Sad to see him go, but between him and Pierre Thomas, I'd rather keep Pierre. As for Sproles in Philly, is he redundant with McCoy already there? It doesn't seem like the best fit for him as far as touches he'll get. yeah definitely keep Pierre. I REALLY coveted McCluster. Good lord he would have done epic things in Payton's offense.

    Junior pitcher from LSU, Aaron Nola. Dude has now pitched 53 innings without giving up an earned run. This year he is 4-0, 0.00 ERA, 27 innings, 36 K's and 2 walks. Goodness.
