    I gotta agree. Rotoworld said Gerut would likely take Grieve's job...first of all, Grieve is doing fine and has a great OBP...secondly, that would still give us 2 LH LF'ers which wouldn't make sense, and Murton is doing fine so there's no point in sending him back down.

    Gerut bats lefty. How about a Gerut/Murton platoon? Why wouldn't they just stick with Hollandsworth in that case though? Is Gerut that much better?

    DUDE!! I feel your pain. I have both Beckett and Halladay....PLUS I have freaking Tim Hudson who has been hurt....DAMN YOU INJURIES!!!! That sucks...I also have Kenny Rogers who will have a 20 game suspension looming sometime in his future. Sometimes FB really frustrates me.

    If only there was something in his past that suggested Beckett might get hurt.... True. I guess I was hoping he would stay healthy this year.

    I lost Josh Beckett to the DL for the THIRD time this season yesterday and now Roy Halladay is out a month with a broken bone in his leg. I still have a pretty decent staff, but losing these two guys hurts. :cry:

    We could probably find a team in the playoff race that wouldn't mind acquiring a decent lefty bench bat. I don't think we'd get too much in return, but like you said, the point is to remove him from Dusty's hands so Murton gets the playing time.
