  1. Havlat's ankle was x-rayed and it was negative, apparently they will know more tomorrow, but he flew home with the team.
  2. Wow. Terrible. And Havlat may be out for a while. Well, thought they were ready to go 5-2 and take sole possession of first place, but obviously they have a loooong way to go before they are respectable.
  3. Why do they do that? I never understood why the refs spend so much time looking like they are trying to fake guys out. Want to make sure no one is anticipating the drop. If you start a little early you're most likely going to win the draw. Yeah, but what's the point? The shenanigans on faceoffs are such a boring waste of time from an otherwise exciting non-stop moving sport. I agree with you. It seems a lot of times like an ego-boost for some refs. "You're not going to wait for me, get out of here because I am in control of the game.' I'm a fan of the street hockey faceoff with the triple stick tap myself. As a fan it's so frustrating to watch three fakes, one guy gets thrown out, etc. just drop the puck!!!!
  4. Went to the game last night. Khabibulin really won it with strong goaltending, and was the #1 star, rightfully so. Havlat's goal about a minute in was awesome, he's so exciting to watch, the most talented player the Hawks have had since Savard, IMO. 4-2 record and currently in first place. Tomorrow night they play in Dallas, who've killed us for a loooong time.
  5. I've definitely enjoyed watching him so far this year. He's pretty physical, uses his size well, and has been very good defensively. Playing with Havlat is definitely helping him offensively, as well.
  6. wow. got a feeling we're gonna get smoked tonight.
  7. Anyone know the score to my matchup? Ditka's Army-Raw Dawgs.
  8. I think Boucher was just rusty, he hasn't gotten a lot of work since the preseason and it showed. Lost sight on two of the goals, and like I said before, that 4th goal should have been stopped. I think Bouch will be better as he goes on, though it will be tough considerig Khabibulin doesn't take a lot of nights off.
  9. Gah, this is really a game the Hawks should've won. Havlat looks amazing out there, but Boucher gave up a softy for the GW goal and the D is still struggling.
  10. I tried to read the entire original post, but streams of blood started squirting out of my nose about halfway through.
  11. what's our score looking like TT?
  12. It's pretty amazing for the Bears to be dominating a great team like Seattle so much. Like the announcers said, I really think this shows they are the best team in the NFC.
  13. domination folks, domination.
  14. thx vance
  15. anyone know how my matchup is looking? I don't have stat tracker.
  16. I hate you atlanta defense. I hate you.
  17. don't have stat tracker, what exactly is the score? Unless I miscalculated(which is a real possibility with the quickness I went through it), Roast is winning 39-38 with Vick and Dunn going tomorrow while you have Atlanta's defense. ah, ok, thanks.
  18. don't have stat tracker, what exactly is the score?
  19. wow, I did not think they would pull that win off. Rex showed a lot to be able to get that TD at the end. GO BEARS!!!
  20. also, my team blows again
