    I hope so, but we are the Cubs. I am waiting for the huge injury. I wonder if TLR is hammering the arms this year as a way of saying to the front office, "hey, get me some more talent." There has been a lot of talk like that on the STL boards. Like batting F Lopez 5th and playing him in LF. A big F U to ownership? I can't imagine they'd risk Carpenter but they haven't handled injuries very well. Seems they end up screwing up a number of injuries ala Rolen. Maybe the Cards can grab the wild card and make it a Cubs/Cards NLCS. We need one of those to elevate this rivalry back up to Yanks / Sox.

    lol this is getting kinda funny looks like your year guys I don't know if Carp was rushed back but he did look pretty good in all three starts. And TLR has nothing on Dusty when it comes to burning arms.

    Man, that house is a mess. In the new video, there is someone lying on the couch, just sitting through this whole thing. Where was the epic ending? I was hoping to hear more sex talk. What a attention whore. And Soul is right, it's boring after the first 30 secs.

This is a pretty good game and I don't want to argue about this. FTR, I'm still a Jimmy fan and hope he continues to do well for the Cubs. Just like I know you guys are rooting for Isturis, right? \:D/

Give me a break I was being funny, but come on. Was he not enemy #1? Cheering Edmonds as a Cub? Got that. But the lovefest? Give me a break. Long gone are the days of "Edmonds is gay, wears eyeliner, etc" I suppose huh? He has been productive as hell for the Cubs what the hell do you really expect? We want to win games, and Jim has helped us do that big time. You seriously cant be that naive to not see this I absolutely expect you to cheer for him. It's just weird to see the lovefest, that's all. Hated probably isn't strong enough of a word for his days in St. Louis.

You are the guys that kicked him to the curb when he still had a ton in the tank. Ludwick, Edmonds, and Ankiel would be a helluva outfield. 1) I have no problem with Jimmy going to the Cubs. I'm diehard Cards fan and can think of many worse things than playing CF for the Cubs. 2) I'm not sure how much he had left in the tank, but yes he has his spots when motivated. 3) I'm only saying it's tough to imagine hating someone so much (as Cub fans did Edmonds) and then referring to him with affectionate nicknames.

    I think it's because on the road, you are hoping to win. At home, you are expecting to win. Win 2 of 3 at home is mandatory. Win 2 of 3 on road is a luxury.

    You think so? Gotta get a man to scoring position. AP is just as likely to hit into that DP. If that ball gets by Ethier and Schumaker is doing things correctly, he's at third at least. If it gets past Ethier and he's 3 steps off the base like he was, then he's in doubt to even make it to third. I don't understand. Did it look at all like he wouldn't catch it? Seemed to me a tag play all the way, just a decision on whether to go for it or not, take the bat out of AP's hands.

    How many blown saves do the Cubs have? Around 8-10ish? I don't know, but that's nowhere near the 25 or more the Cards are approaching.

    pixie dust strikes again Seriously - Izzy has to be pretty close to DFA at this point. Cards could be leading the division right now with a third less blown saves. Cubs are a better team, but good lord the blown saves.
