Hawkins had the flu today, which is why it hurt even more to have Kofi and Payne unavailable basically the entire second half.

Divisional round matchups set: Titans vs Bengals Chiefs vs Bills Packers vs 49ers Bucs vs AZ/LAR winner 2 games Saturday, 2 games Sunday, assume that the Bucs game will be Sunday next week since AZ/LAR play tomorrow. If I had to guess, Chiefs-Bills would also be Sunday, and Titans/Bengals and Packers/49ers will be Saturday.

I hate the Bears even more for allowing the Steelers into the playoffs.

The highlight: [tweet] [/tweet]

Looks like Kendall Gill is messing with the chyrons again.
-
At least get Brian Flores an interview, but I worry that someone will scoop him up before the Bears even organize enough to get a GM.
-
Flores and Fields deserve each other. Make it happen, McCaskeys.
-
I like Brian Flores, got a raw deal there in Miami, somehow made that team competitive two years straight when it looked like the laughing stock of the league.

The tweet isn’t loading for me. What did it say It was a photo of the play where the Chargers called timeout with 30 seconds left showing what appeared to be an uncovered WR, thus explaining the TO. However, a full shot of the lineup shows the DB actually there, just 5 yards off the receiver.
-
Photo is misleading, there is a DB just off frame.

NO CHARGERS WHAT ARE YOU DOING
-
Correct, three kneels here with no timeouts and both teams make the playoffs, Chargers as the 6 seed (would play the Bills), Raiders as the 7 seed (would play the Chiefs). If the Raiders win, they get the 5 seed and would play the Bengals. That's basically the only difference a win makes. Oh, and the Steelers would make the playoffs, which nobody wants.

KNEEL AND PUNT

I am astounded that both teams aren't just playing for a tie at this point.

Bulls 107, Wizards 95...end of the third quarter.

BU update on Curbelo in today's postgame, says he's cleared medically to play, just have to get his conditioning right. I didn’t hear this in his post, do you have a link? Now the Illini have a 4 day layoff followed by a game in Nebraska, seems like a good spot to get him some burn off the bench leading up to a game vs Michigan following. This is where I got it from: https://247sports.com/college/illinois/Article/Illinois-Fighting-Illini-basketball-Ayo-Dosunmu-Chicago-Bulls-honored-jersey-Andre-Curbelo-injury-update-Kofi-Cockburn-national-player-of-the-year-179929840/ On the broadcast they mentioned Curbelo participating in the shootaround and scout team drills, and they asked BU in the postgame about it, and he responded that it's all about conditioning now, they want to make sure he's 100% and won't get reinjured out on the court.

The New York Times is acquiring The Athletic: https://investors.nytco.com/news-and-events/press-releases/#data-item=The-New-York-Times-Company-to-Acquire-The-Athletic
-
Yeah, 10-3, with 2 straight losses in the "Curbelo is absolutely not right, he should not be playing" era, and the 4 point loss to Arizona where they got outworked, and Underwood said in the postgame that he'd make sure that never happened again this year. Since then, they've been basically rolling teams.
-
I admit I haven't been paying much attention so far. Is Curbelo going to take a red shirt at this point or is he still hoping to be able to play this year? The rules this year are a bit different, due to everyone getting a free eligibility year for last year. Anyone who plays in any game can't get a redshirt, so there's no chance of it this year for Curbelo. They're being super careful with him, because they rushed him back earlier just to play terrible for 2 games and lose both almost solely due to his play, which was clearly impeded by his condition. Good news is that he's joining the shootaround and practicing with the team now, so a return is imminent if tthere are no further setbacks.

Illinois would be pretty scary with an all-B1G PG. Fully expecting them to lose Thursday, because they always play like garbage against Maryland.
