Apparently, Joe Johnson is still undecided on the Hawks bird-max deal. He still likes the possibility of New York or Chicago. In my opinion, JJ isn't on the same tier as LeBron, Wade or Bosh, and he's not worth max money, so Atlanta can have him at that.

I know it sounds ridiculous but I think you're better off with LeBron/Bosh or Wade/Bosh. With Rose, LeBron, Wade you have three guys who can't really shoot from 3 and all thrive off having the ball in their hands and driving. I mean yeah you take those guys and figure that all out later but I think you could have more problems and less balance with that scenario. That's 3 guys who can break you down off the dribble. You can't possibly guard all of them. I'd just go for it and sort out the details later.

I think it's officially gotten to the point where I'd be extremely disappointed if the Bulls don't land at least one of the max free agents, and somewhat disappointed if they don't get two. Plus, my first choice for two would be LeBron and Wade. Low-post presence, who the hell cares.

Because by American public perception (and World Cup Finals history) it is. No its not. Perceived to be one of the top 3 teams in the world beating the #1 team? I'm not sure John Doe American know much about the Dutch team. I think the bigger thing of the upset was that Brazil was out. But with the two teams playing in the quarters, one was going to be seriously disappointed with the result regardless.

Difficult to control, mostly. It's basically giving up a 50/50 ball when you are currently in control. Easier to set up a more precise cross off a short throw than throw in such a way that it goes exactly where you want across the field.
