  1. imb added and dropped a guy so far. That makes today the most active that team has been in 3 years.
  2. This does kind of suck but I've never figured out what you can do about it. The only suggestion I might make would be to remove the DL spots and go with 6 bench spots, which basically mirrors what MLB clubs do in September.
  3. Hey, Nate Scheelhaase just threw as many TD passes in the Cincy game as he threw all of last season. We're riding a high.
  4. Yes, that is what I was saying. Are you trying to be offended here? I didn't even use the Miami game.
  5. And this is why everything has to pander to the lowest common denominator.
  6. HEY GUYS I THINK I WILL MAKE A DETROIT JOKE IF THAT IS OK. I was hoping not everyone needed the Dexter-level explanation. Next time I'll try to find the ghost of Al Davis to explain it to you more explicitly.
  7. Where everyone complains because baseball's rostering rules and teams' priorities are completely different in September.
  8. Yeah, Detroit at Arizona should be interesting that way.
  9. Well, we already won one of the hardest games. The 2 Packers and 2 Lions games will still be tough. What else? I was never worried about the Steelers... It's not so much the difficulty, it's that there are barely any creampuff games they should easily win. Looks like 3, counting this week, including St. Louis and Cleveland (and maybe Pittsburgh). However, week 1 is National Jump to Conclusions week, so let's see how things shake out over the next 3 weeks before we make any sweeping judgments about how good teams are.
  10. Also qualifying for the World Cup last night: Costa Rica, Italy, Netherlands, Argentina.
  11. Panama ties, and the US officially qualifies for the World Cup.
  12. Yes. In fact, if Panama surprises tonight, they'll be playing Panama for the right to even stay in that playoff spot before going to Costa Rica. If Panama surprises tonight Honduras is in trouble, no?
  13. Nah, they can still get 3rd but haven't played in Costa Rica yet.
  14. I'll just leave this here... http://www.footballoutsiders.com/dvoa-ratings/2013/week-1-dvoa-ratings
  15. I'm assuming because the Bears are 0-0 against the NFC/Division while many other teams are 1-0 in conference and the Lions are 1-0 against the NFCN Yes, and the Bengals have their division's best conference record.
  16. Meaningless quirk that probably only I find funny: If the playoffs started after week 1, the Bears would miss the playoffs and Cincy would win the division.
  17. Robbie Gould has made his last 11 FGAs over 50 yards.
  18. Both teams came out of this game tied for first place, so everyone wins.
  19. I see National Jump to Conclusions week has gotten off to an early start already.
  20. 28 points is more than Illinois scored in any FBS game last season.
  21. So, uh, Illinois is up 14-0 right now. Vegas knows stuff. 21-0 now. getting some homecooking too After last season I'll take anything.
  22. Pedro over The Rocket, or even Boggs, seems a little crazy to me Plus Ted Williams is already there, and not having a Bruin is wrong. I'd pick Phil Esposito.
  23. I'm glad we finally have one location where we can toss every SCS post.

    Rizzo

Rizzo is Mark Grace with a better eye.
  25. My fantasy opponent has Manning and Thomas. I have Justin Tucker. Next week looks promising.
