The one where Maddon takes Arrieta out of the game after 6 at 100 pitches with the Cubs up 12-3 in game 2, and then the left field fans are so into the game in game 6, they let Schwarber catch a ball near the wall so the Cubs win 3-0 and make the World Series?

    Story perhaps only I find funny: - The Brewers Fan Appreciation Night is breaking tradition this year and happening today vs the Reds instead of on their last home stand against the Cubs, because the Brewers don't want their fan appreciation prizes going to Cub fans.

    Miami leads Washington 2-0 in the 3rd in the only other game that remotely affects the Cubs playoff chances at all.

    Diamondbacks lead the Giants 3-0 in the 2nd. If the Giants lose today, the Cards clinch a playoff berth calmly, coolly, and without incident on the field.
