    It should be 7/$214 not 8. He currently has 6/$199. With the $50M kicked in, that should put the AAV for the first 6 years around $25M and an extra year at $15M. Damn. Entering age 30 season, 7 year deal at $25M AAV and away from Coors. Like all big deals, will be interesting to watch his production in the latter half of the contract. Exactly. Not sure this Cardinals team is in any position to state that this deal takes them anywhere close to over the top. Good for them but they are stockpiling a lot of old guys.
