    i hate to say it, but i think our season is definitely done now :( Very Cub-like way to end the game. One out away from making it out of the 8th only trailing by 1 with the heart of the order due up and then a 3 run homer. Then of course the Cubs somehow manage to get the tying run up at the end of the game only to have him strike out to end the game. Thats the way how it always is it seems like...I would like to beat Atlanta and Florida good though. 2 teams i can't stand.

    ugh, Neifi 2nd? I also would've liked to see Corey get the day off with Lawton in LF and Hairston in CF.

    Nats lose! Phillies down by a TD and a FG in the bottom of the 8th, Astros are down 1-0 in the 6th. Only bad thing is the Marlins are winning 3-0 in the 8th, so there could be possibly 4 teams all within a half game of each other at night's end.

    holy crap, a game thats a little off topic, but the Reds have put up a 10 spot in the 4th on Arizona and lead 16-3 :shock:

    For those of us with no TV what did he do? he was going to be safe on the throw, but he slid about a foot in front of the plate and his slide stopped him from making the plate, if that makes any sense.
