Might want to tread lightly. Discussion of the game is welcome, but openly cheering for the Cardinals and trying to spark discussion best suited in rivalries won't be welcome here. Everytime I have been here I have caused no problems, and I don't see what I did to deserve a warning. well i mean of course were going to be "tough." The Cardinals are our biggest rivals and this is a Cubs game thread, so what do you expect :lol:

Why do you have to make something out of nothing? La Russa does not order pitchers to throw at players. Period. I read an article in ESPN magazine where he not even admitted to doing so in strategical situations, he actually named specific instances in the past where he threw at a player. I think the player he named in that article was Luis Gonzalez. He was talking about how much he hated to do it because they were friends. So there. yes that was the article i read as well.
