  1. You can tell how confident Rose is when he's shooting his jump shot tonight. Night and day difference from the last few playoff games.
  2. Of course that [expletive] happens.
  3. Watching Ronnie Brewer play defense is pretty damn fun to watch.
  4. I think OKC or Dallas could beat Miami. I don't think that's my irrational Heat hatred talking either.
  5. I'm going to go ahead and assume/hope/pray he'll be playing in Minnesota, Toronto, Washington, or some other form of basketball hell by the time his contract expires.
  6. Yeah, I never understood that train of thought either. It's the NHL -- every team suffers bumps and bruises along the way. The Hawks were relatively healthy for most of the year, all things considered. Were they worn out from the long season last year? Yes, more than likely. But I don't attribute the Hawks disappointing season to injuries.
  7. Q: What does everyone in that .gif have in common? A: In two months, they will all have nba titles No faith in the Thunder? How many teams have ever gone from winning 0 playoff series to making it to/winning the nba title? These are 21-year olds, im sure in their mind, they're playing with house money. If the Mavericks beat the Lakers, the Thunder would be my favorite to win the title. I definitely think they could beat Miami in a seven game series.

  9. Same with Memphis-OKC.
  10. I wouldn't say that Deng can create his own shot. He's very effective when he's coming off of screens or slashing to the basket but as far as setting up his own shot? I've never really seen that type of play from Deng. Deng and Noah are a couple of decent options for Rose, but they're far from superstars. I'm still inclined to believe that Boozer is a good player. He has to have an injury that is more significant than the "turf toe" he suffered last week. I don't understand how a 20-10 guy becomes so useless during the final month of the regular season and well into the playoffs. And comparing Rondo to Iverson is just laughable. I mean we are talking about basketball, right?
  11. Nashville really needs to make that a series, otherwise the only team left to root for would be Tampa Bay.
  12. Did anybody else hear what Dick Stockton called Rose just now?
  13. Rose can get to the rim whenever he wants. Nobody on this Hawks team is going to stop him from doing that. So why the hell are you still shooting these horrible three point attempts?
  14. Anytime Rose wants to stop playing like an idiot would be ok with me.
  15. Consider the source. Their coach. During the time out and during a half time interview. I know, that's what I'm saying.
  16. Bastard went to Wake Forest instead of SIU. Screw him.
  17. Decent quarter but Boozer continues to frustrate. The lack of defensive rotations combined with the fact that we were actually trying to get him involved early on in the game. He wanted none of it either.
  18. Yes, and I rooted for them in the Finals last year too. That's what happens when you play the Lakers.
  19. Alternatively, Lebron's got you so worked up that you think he even approaches the Celtics on the despicability scale. Which as a Bulls fan, makes zero sense whatsoever. It's LeBron's team that's going to kick the Bulls ass, it's LeBron who is teaming up with his natural rival with the intention of challenging Jordan's legacy and it's LeBron could prevent our greatest player since Jordan from ever winning a title. The Celtics are not a threat. What you guys are doing is akin to giving Hitler dap in 1939 just because you hate Poles. I'm a huge Celtics fan in that series. I don't know what Bulls fan wouldn't be. Miami's a much bigger threat than Boston is, IMO. But, we might want to take care of business against Atlanta tonight.
  20. The first six minutes of that game were completely pathetic. That can't be emphasized enough. Look at some of the offensive "sets" we were running. There was no emotion and no life from anybody on the team. We may have won 60+ games in the regular season, but this team isn't good enough to just think it can coast to a playoff win. The Pacers series should've been a wake-up call, but I guess we decided to forget about that series during the long layoff. I still think we'll win the series without getting to a Game 7, but there were definitely some uncomfortable things to take away from last night's game.
