    I have a feeling that the WMU game is going to be like the Ball State game during the Rose Bowl year. Definitely expecting a letdown week, but Illinois wins by 13 or so.

    Those headlines that Fox uses during games have always been sort of screwy. I remember watching a game last year where there was absolutely no way that it was used in a newspaper before Buck said, "These are real headlines from newspapers and articles throughout the season." Nice job, Fox.

    I agree. Starks is averaging 6.8 YPC, while Grant is averaging 4.3. Obviously Starks won't keep that up but I think he's the better back between the two.

    I'll be very disappointed if we don't blitz the [expletive] out of the Bears on Sunday. That's all the Saints were doing late in the game, and it was obviously working. I think a big part of why our secondary has been as bad as it has is because we haven't really generated much of a pass rush with our linemen. I'll be worried about our rush if Cutler stays clean on Sunday afternoon. The line for the game sounds about right. I think it's going down to the wire, like almost all of our games seem to do nowadays.

    Green Bay plays them next week. His play has got me a little more concerned about that game than I was. After the Tampa game in 09 and the Detroit game last year, I would hope that we don't overlook Carolina next week.

    If they can beat ASU next week, there's no reason why they can't get 8 wins this year. I don't know about winning the division, but the schedule certainly favors Illinois.

    We were fortunate that there weren't any injuries to our corners last year. Besides Rodgers going down, that's the other position where we can't really afford to have any injuries.

    I'm pretty sure I know which play he got that from. Pretty good hit. It wouldn't have happened if AJ Hawk knew how to tackle. Thank God it's nothing too serious.

    Doesn't make you a bad guy, it just makes you misguided. Nyjer Morgan is a douchebag. He's one of several douchebags on their team. He also was one of the first people to introduce the lame "Beast Mode" thing (some will credit minor leaguer Eric Farris), which makes even veterans like Mark Kotsay look like a stupid douchebag when he does it after a meaningless single. Props to Craig Counsell for refusing to do it, although some would make the joke that he's never on base to actually perform the act. Bottom line? The Brewers are douchebags. I have nothing against the Brewers and while he might be a tool, he's kind of funny at doing it. I enjoy the act. Besides, would you really rather have the Cardinals win the division over the Brewers? Not a chance.
