I can. The media hasn't been hard on him at all. A lot of easy questions for him to answer and he's obviously not ready for it. The people in the Chicago media are just doing their jobs. If Lou is getting bent out of shape over a couple of questions that aren't really that hard, then he really needs to retire again. Yeah, but most of the Chicago media has it coming. Most, not all. And we can only wish Lou is retiring. I'll agree with both points.

Well, Barrett isn't in the lineup tonight. And keep in mind, Blanco is supposed to be Zambrano's "personal catcher." So it is pretty weird that he would get two starts in two straight games.

Now that Kobe has become public with it, I don't think the price will be as heavy as it would be. It's going to be a lot like the Iverson and Shaq deals where it seems like the team that is trading the superstar is going to get ripped off. I'm a huge BG fan, but if we were to land Kobe, there's no question I'd do the deal. If we could keep Kirk, Deng, and Tyrus and still be able to land Kobe and Bynum, I believe we'd be the best team in the East. -

The players have to be accountable for this. These guys have played organized baseball since they were 5. You have to know the fundamentals of the game. But I have never seen so much running into an out at 3rd before this year. Lou has to step up and get the point across instead of just looking lost in the dugout when something stupid with this team happens. -

And the control problems for the pen continue. Both of Wuertz's walks come around to score. And how the hell do you get picked off of 2nd especially when you're not stealing? This team is so stupid.

Me too, but I can't get over the visceral, knee jerk disgust whenever I see the name "Izturis" in the lineup. I stopped caring about the lineups a few weeks ago.
