  1. The guy needs to mature. Quickly. Now that he sucks, his childish banter looks even more ridiculous than it did when he was good.
  2. Like I just told a friend of mine, Barrett and Z both blow. Might as well dump them both off at the deadline to contenders. co-sign, QFT, +1
  3. In Z's defense, Barrett is a freaking comedy of mistakes right now. Oh yeah, if Barrett isn't hitting, he has absolutely no value at all. He's been completely awful this year. Two of the more disappointing players on the team fighting each other. Like Bob said, it would have been better suited if they used that energy to fight the other team.
  4. Ah, nothing like Zambrano blaming someone else for him sucking it up once again.
  5. What the heck has happened to Barrett's bat?
  6. Freakin morons? If that's not an attack on posters, I don't know what is. DLee!!!
  7. lol shut up Len and Bob. A 2 run deficit with these losers is like a 20 run deficit.
  8. Even with the pitcher coming up, what the hell is the point of playing in with 2 outs?
  9. We're very fortunate that the Braves aren't winning by 5 or 6.
  10. Hill over Soto? This organization has officially lost its marbles.
  11. Varajeo got mugged, cut up, and hit in the head all in one play there. Ridiculous.
  12. LeBron with a huge 3 to tie the game at 107. I'm not really interested in this series, but I can't stand Detroit. Please win, Cavs.
  13. That's really frustrating. Colvin seems to be fitting right in with the rest of the organization's hitters. I still think it's way too early to be calling him out. At least it turned out to be a better pick than our first rounder in 05.
  14. Dye could start over Jones/Floyd quite easily. He's gotten off to a slow start, but besides last year, I'm pretty sure he's a notorious slow starter. Don't forget that this guy nearly won the AL MVP last year. But as for the original post, I'd agree that both Chicago teams are very bad. Dye is certainly not a slow starter. Using OPS, April is the best month for him in his career. Well I guess I was mistaken then.

  16. I've been content with Hanley Ramirez so far.
  17. Yeah, we're fun bad. When you don't even get mad when your team is losing, you definitely know that there is no hope and that they suck. I laughed pretty hard when Uggla hit that wind-aided HR. The near-botched rundown was also pretty hilarious.
  18. That really is an impressive streak. Seriously. I thought it was rough when my local minor league hockey team lost 3 in a row with me in attendance. Yeah, and it's not like I've heavily loaded those games in crappy years, I went to 18 games between '03 and '04. The strange thing is, I've never seen the Cubs lose at away games. I'm 6-0, with four of those wins coming at Busch, one in Milwaukee and one in Cincinnati. I'm going to a game at Busch in July, and to a couple in the Colorado series. If the trends hold, I may only attend road games until something crazy happens. Look out Joe DiMaggio, here comes earth2sean! I go .500 every year. Last year I went 1-1. The year before that I went 4-4, after starting 4-0. It was stupid. Usually, the Cubs go like 3-0 or 2-1 every year I go. I went to Guzman's first career start last year (the game which was the beginning of the end) against the Marlins. And that was the only game I went to seeing how we were out of it even before summer started. I might not even go to Wrigley at all this year. I gave away my tickets on Monday and unless we start to pick it up, I have no interest in wasting a summer afternoon watching a losing team.
