    INI Didn't think that would last until my post. I hope they don't take Indiana for granted. They're not that bad of a team either. Like someone said in last week's college football thread, the winner of that game is probably going to be the surprise team of the Big 10. A win for Illinois puts them at 3-1 and starts the conference season on the right foot. Sounds good to me. Another gimme for SIU as they take on Arkansas Pine-Bluff. Should be 4-0 headed into conference play. As far as NIU goes, the countdown to Demetrius Jones' first snap in a Huskie uniform is on. I'll be very surprised if they beat Idaho on the road. Yes, Idaho.

    Northwestern plays down to their competition in every game. They had their chances to win it. Real bad loss for the Cats.

    SIU rolled over Southern Utah, 44-10. 3-0 start once again for SIU. Went to the NIU game today and it was pretty depressing to see them lose to Eastern Michigan. It's amazing how fast the program has deteriorated. And the sad thing was, it was pretty predictable that they were going to blow the game. A blocked FG as time expired sealed the deal. At least Demitrius Jones should instill life back into the program. And yeah, Illinois is going to a bowl game this year. I said it before the season and I'm going to continue to say it. I know it was only against 'Cuse today, but that offense is stacked.

    Yeah, let's blame Kendall for the rest of the offense's inability to not be able to hit Joel Piniero. Let's blame him for having a pitcher on the mound that can't put that behind him and continue to throw pitch after pitch after pitch. Yep, the loss sure goes on Kendall.

    Ah, I knew blaming Lou would be the popular thing on here. Let's ignore the fact that the pitcher threw 800 pitches in not even 3 innings and failed to put away one of the worst lineups in the league. Yeah, all on Lou.

    I said this after week 1. He's long gone. can't say I blame him. If he wants to play college football... key word being play... it's pretty obvious that he's not going to get the chance at ND, with Joe Montana Jr. already starting as a freshman. I've heard it's already a done deal. Awesome get for NIU :D i know it's a longshot, but boy would it be awesome if he turned out to be a better player than claussen I don't hate ND at all (not saying I like them either), but for NIU purposes, yes it would be awesome.
