  1. Whoever thinks we're winning this game is living in Dreamland.
  2. Oh look at that. The Brewers are beating up on a team that's bad. Too bad the Cubs can't do the same.
  3. It'll take a miracle to come back and win this.
  4. Why can't our pitchers ever get a bunt down? IT'S NOT THAT HARD.
  5. The freaking Marlins. Way to step up, morons.
  6. I love how Lilly is giving up hits to bums I've never heard of before.
  7. Who else thought Willis would rebound with a good outing tonight?
  8. Only because Selig told LaRussa that for every run the Cards score this series a dog or cat will be eaten by Jerry Reinsdorf. LOL, I love it LOL, this is so fun.
  9. Saint. Louis. Cardinals. At least Bennett has given me a reason to turn this game back on. Come on, Wainwright.
  10. The Cardinals have what, two real hitters in that lineup? I doubt they'll put up 5 in this game.
  11. This isn't about their team, this is about a pitcher who has been pretty good all year looking like crap . I could still see the Brewers finding a way to lose this game. Remember when Oswalt threw that game against us in July? I guess it's even now. Cause good pitchers pitching poorly = THROWING THE GAME That's hardly the same thing. The Astros and the Cubs aren't long-time rivals and Oswalt loves beating the Cubs (especially since he and Barrett got into it). There is definitely added intensity, they are playing a divisional game with playoff implications it's not like they are playing the Nationals. This is, largely, the same Cardinals team that swept the Brewers the last time they played them. That was your reasoning behind the Cards throwing it. One of their pitchers who is good is doing poorly. I'm pointing out that just maybe there could be some other reason, like the fact that pitchers much better than Wainwright could have bad games, even against offenses not as good as Milwaukee's. But yeah, he's probably just costing himself money by giving up runs on purpose to give a team with a mathematical 3% chance of overtaking the Cubs that extra 2% chance. Definitely worth it to him. My comments were exclusive to the Cardinals and to this situation. There would be no motivation for another pitcher or team playing in a normal regular season game. This one game isn't going to cost Wainwright on dime. We'll have to agree to disagree. I can't believe you're serious.
  12. Heh, don't count on the Cardinals. That's for sure.
  13. Way too soft to have a good announcer's voice. Those announcing pairs sound a lot better than the crap that Fox comes up with.
  14. CHARLIE WEIS IS FAT LOLZ SO ORIGINAL DID YOU KNOW JOE PATERNO IS OLD AND NICK SABAN DOESN'T STAY IN JOBS LONG AND URBAN MEYER LIKES TO STEAL RECRUITS, LET'S ALL MAKE COOL ORIGINAL JOKES ABOUT THEM TOO I hate the Weis fat jokes too, but I found the picture extremely hilarious.
  15. I agree, he has to be the Heisman favorite right now.
  16. He looked to be in pretty bad pain. I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be an injury that puts him out for a few weeks at the minimum. And Washington is really stupid. Seriously, they have a walk-on QB playing. Just stack the box and stop the run. How hard is that, Willingham? they are... the last two plays there have been 9 guys in the box and they still can't stop the run. Well now they are because there was only 4 minutes left in the game and UCLA was just trying to run the clock out. The first two drives that the UCLA 3rd string QB was in, they didn't have the box stacked.

  18. 100 people witnessed this spectacular event? That's like a ton of people to witness that. Awesome.
