The offensive line is the most important part of a football team. I'll continue to harp on that forever. I was never a huge Ahman Green fan, yet some of those lines he ran behind made him look monstrous (especially in '03 when he nearly ran for 1900 yards). Gado was a three game wonder, nothing more than that. Ryan Grant's running style fits the zone blocking scheme perfectly. It's all about schemes and the line you're running behind. Almost any running back in the NFL can have good success if he's thrown into the right situation.

The Indians are going to be more interested in Murton than Pie? This really gets to the heart of the matter though. The Indians really need more hitting than pitching, and the Cubs don't have any elite talent to trade to them in the minors. The Indians are not looking to restock a farm system like the Orioles were doing in the offseason. The Indians want guys who can be impact players, not a bunch of guys who might turn out to be serviceable players. The only way this really makes sense is if this becomes a three team trade where the Cubs move their "surplus" of young solid arms to another team for some impact position prospects to the Indians for Sabathia. I'm trading both Murton and Pie if it nets us Sabathia and I don't think twice about it.

what a stupid overreaction It's a reaction to his entire body of work throughout a professional career. Professional career? .301/.366/.468 - 1633 minor league AB And this is like the 5th time I've mentioned this, but he's had 14 AB's in the majors before today's game. I guess that's an "entire body of work."
