    I don't know if you necessarily DFA Howry, but something has to give. You can't keep pitching him in late-inning, high-pressure situations. I know it was only one outing, but I think I'd actually trust Samardzija more than I trust Howry. At least his fastball can blow hitters away, plus he has a pretty good splitter and slider. I'm not saying I'd make Samardzija a primary 8th inning guy, but Howry gives me absolutely no confidence anytime he takes the mound.

    Last year in reverse. It's gonna happen. If we can't score off the crappy 45 year old, our once 8.5 game lead is down to 2. We lead by 8.5? I think so 8.5 over the Brewers, maybe. We never had close to an 8.5 lead over the Cards.

    I'm going to go with the consensus pick Vikings Packers Bears Lions Not sure if the Packers grab a WC spot yet...but I'm leaning towards no. That's my irrational Packer hate speaking though probably. Name 5 teams in the NFC that are better than the Packers. You can't do it. who's your favorite teamm btw? the packers are an unknown. yeah, they look good on defense, but so did the bears going into last year. I think Dallas and the Giants will be better. The division should come down to the Packers and the Vikings, but who knows? I think those are the four best teams in the conference, pretty easily. As we all know though, preseason predictions really don't mean a whole lot.
