Yeah, I said that before the game when Fred said the wind was blowing out by about 20 mph. It definitely helps their all-or-nothing offense more than it does for us.

Hmm, I didn't know juice could change a person's swing. No the fact that he has less of a range of motion because of his mass can though. He'd be a pretty stupid guy if he just started juicing this year, wouldn't you think?

I've been on the 2 starters train for a couple weeks. Get one of the bigger guys (CC, Harden, Burnett) and get a back of the rotation guy in someone like Wolf or Maddux. You could probably get either of those guys for something real cheap, plus they should be better than the back end of our rotation right now (even though Gallagher has been good lately). You don't think one of Hill, Marshall or Gallagher can be just as good as Randy Wolf? And without the price? Come on people, you're overreacting here. I'm not overreacting at all. I'm one of the biggest pro-Hill guys on this site, but I don't think it's very realistic to expect he'll make a contribution with the big league team for the remainder of this season. Gallagher would be a good 5th starter, but if we managed to acquire another starter, do you really think Lou would keep Gallagher in the rotation ahead of Marquis? That's really never been his thing. Marshall's a question mark. I like the guy, but he always has a hard time going 5 innings when he's with the big league team. Again, it's a legit thing to be worried about. I dunno, Lou seems to be waiting for the moment to take Marquis out of the rotation. It'd be nice if that were the case, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Ward with another single.

I really don't think there's anything to worry about concerning Gallagher. He's just having a bad day. I'm more concerned about Marquis and Lilly. Either way, strengthening our rotation has to be a must.

What are you going to do ? Walk a man into scoring position? At least pitch around him. Don't give him stuff on the inner half of the plate. Gallagher getting rocked. Ugh.
