man on thrid less than two outs for the good part of their order in the third and they don't score. maybe it's mitchell boggs turn to be good. I'm sure the Cards offense will come back and Boggs will shut the Astros down.

Yeah, their pitching is going to be a mess until Peavy gets back, if he gets back this year. People are acting like Clayton Richard is good? He's terrible. He had an ERA of around 10 from the first of June until his two most recent starts. -

If we're going to get a big starter, wait until the offseason and see if the Jays lower their asking price for Halladay. Hopefully the sale of the team will be completed by then and we can actually be legitimate buyers then as well. -
Wouldn't Alonso be a PTBNL? He didn't sign until the last minute last year.

Makes me wonder if we're getting a bat later. Although I have to admit, after watching the Cubs put up 24 runs in the last two games it seems kind of silly to want a bat. It never hurts to have a stronger bench.
